Amazing breakfast! Perfectly cooked eggs. Had the Fox Breakfast and Eggs Benedict. Very generous portions, well worth the price. Coffee was rich and delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will return again and again!

Great pub with fantastic food.  Bartenders/servers were helpful and courteous. I got the eggs Benedict which were cooked perfectly, with amazing flavor and a delightful hollandaise, (not overly done or overwhelming as it can be in "The Colonies", my partner had the "Fox Breakfast" which is a must try.  They even had a breakfast option that came with a Guinness! I'll likely try that next time!  Good selection of beers and for dinner try a steak from a local butcher they use... sounded fantastic!! One of the best breakfasts we've had in our short stay in London!! We actually paid less for our breakfast here than we did at one of the other "breakfast/coffee" shops we visited.  Very reasonable I thought.  Coffee was just as good as well!

Fabulous old traditional English pub near Farringdon just off Charter House Street. Very cozy and beautifully restored/decorated. Highly advised to book a table in advance as there are limited tables (maybe 10-12 ) and they go quickly. Friendly staff. Very vibey. Good quality pub food. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. Fantastic mould wine. Dog friendly. A little on the pricey side. An interesting place to visit for the historical value.

This was our second time staying.  It was just as good as the first!  The staff were very friendly and conscientious.  It was great to see that our server from three years ago is now a manager; thanks for your warm welcome Kristoff!

We booked a Sunday Stay, which included a credit for Sunday dinner and a breakfast for each of us.  My wife had the beef burger, and I had the pork belly Sunday Roast.  Both were phenomenal.

For breakfast, my wife had scrambled eggs on toast and said they were the best scrambled eggs she has had.  I had a modified eggs benedict with black pudding.  The Hollandaise was brilliant, and I can't wait until our visit next year!

The room was super comfortable and well appointed.

All told, a very smashing stay!  Thanks so much for still having the same high standards as you did three years ago Fox and Anchor.

Excellent - really EXCELLENT - Sunday lunch… and I have tried many over the past few months trying to find the best in London. The mixed roast plate (beef, pork belly, chicken) was fabulous with perfectly cooked chicken and pork - the beef wasn’t quite rare enough for me but all the trimmings were there and all totally lovely. My only gripe is that the Virgin Mary was under spiced and that the apple and horseradish sauces came in weeny bowls … but absolutely among the very best Sunday treats in London.
