This hotel was truly extraordinary! What impressed me most were the exterior design, the interior sculptures, and the chandelier hanging from the ceiling. From the staircase to the hallways, the hotel is adorned with pieces showcasing its rich history and iconic scenes from Hollywood movies. Just taking the time to admire each of these displays is enough to understand the value of this place.

The room’s interior was impeccably elegant, with not a single speck of dirt to be found. It was both cozy and comfortable, and though the hotel’s proximity to the road meant occasional car noise, it became quiet during the early mornings and late nights. From the room, we were fortunate enough to have a clear view of the Hollywood sign!

I believe I was lucky to have been invited to stay here, and it made my very first trip to the United States even more memorable and special.

And most of all, I must express my gratitude to Michael at the front desk! Though I regret not taking a closer look at his name tag, I remember his tall stature, cool beard, and yellow tie. He was incredibly kind, remembered my name, and gave me excellent recommendations for nearby bars and restaurants. Alongside his handwritten notes, he even drew a cheerful smiley face, which truly brightened my day.

If I ever have the chance to return from Japan, this is a hotel I would undoubtedly visit again. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!

"A great city and A great hotel"
I had a pleasant stay at Hollywood Historic Hotel. The exterior design and the interior decorations were eye-catching. Location was close to all attractions. Room was spacious,clean and comfortable. A very special Thank You to all hotel staff.

Visited LA for the first time for just a few days. Since it was my first time, I was barely going to stay in the hotel and basically just wanted a clean band in a safe and central area which this hotel offers. I did not want a pool or a luxurious stay per se, so I would recommend this to anyone wanting a similar experience. All the staff was super friendly, it is in a great location if you want to go to Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Griffith Observatory, Beverly Hills and just anything in west LA. Parking I believe was $18 a day, which is fine since it’s a private parking lot and not street parking. We had a view of the Hollywood sign too. There is a café attached to the building that is pretty decent.

Overall, good place to stay if you just want a clean bed and a good location

We had a snafu with our booking (the bed type was entered incorrectly). After going back and forth between Delta and the front desk, we asked to be called if there was a cancellation. Luckily, Betty called us shortly before 3 and upgraded our room for no cost. Our room was clean and quiet. The hotel bar is beautiful. While parking is $18, it’s nice to have a secured spot. I would stay here again - it was an incredible value in a prime location.
