Best restaurant experience in Tampa, hands down. And I’ve eaten everywhere. It’s easy to understand why it has been given a Michelin star for two years in a row. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the best reviews. I think some people just aren’t used to eating at Michelin stared restaurants, and so they expect more for the price. I admit, it is pricey. I spent $900 for 4 people and we didn’t order wine.  But if you knew what goes into having this level of restaurant then it would make sense. This place is absolutely a wonderful experience with an elaborate menu and everything was prepared perfectly.

Lilac is a gem of a restaurant. My girlfriend and I are used to eating at very high end restaurants all around the country. But rarely are we delighted with such a spectacular dinner. Our server Jeremy excelled in all the aspects you could hope for service, personable, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. I can’t recommend Lilac enough to anyone who lives in or is visiting the Tampa area. We are so impressed with our experience at Lilac we are inspired to try some of John Fraser’s other restaurants as mentioned by our server. Thank you Lilac for an unforgettable night.

Lilac is located in the lobby of the Tampa Edition. Although it had very limited seating, it was packed, and it exceeded my expectations. The ambiance is spectacular as you can probably imagine. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The cocktails were great, and the desserts were the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner. Lilac is a true culinary gem. We did their 4 course tasting dinner and it was well worth the money. We had a little bit of everything (photos attached). It is a Michelin star restaurant, so it is pricey. The Wagyu Filet Mignon was undoubtedly what dreams are made of. I love this the atmosphere feels very intimate, inviting, and romantic even though it is right in the lobby. This restaurant is perfect for any special occasion. I’ll be visiting again.

I had the pleasure of dining at Lilac and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was outstanding. My friend and I had just enjoyed a lovely massage at the hotel spa and were able to secure a last-minute reservation at the Michelin-starred restaurant – we were beyond excited.

We were warmly welcomed by Nikka, who greeted us like an angel, and Jeremie, our server, who impressed us throughout the evening with his expert suggestions. He truly seemed to know our tastes, from drink pairings to every course. John also provided excellent service, clearing plates and engaging in friendly conversation.

It was my birthday, and the team went above and beyond. Mika graciously wrote us a personalized card, and the cake they presented was stunning – it looked like it belonged at a Fortune 500 celebration. The ambiance, the passion for their work, and the overall experience made this dinner one of the best I’ve had.

I can’t wait to return and bring family and friends. A true gem in Tampa!

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. It's located in the lobby of the Tampa Edition Hotel. The ambiance is unique and pleasant. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The cocktails were great, and the desserts were the perfect complement to our dinner. I have a shellfish allergy, and they made some modifications to my food to accommodate my needs. We will definitely be returning in the future.
