I wanted to visit this restaurant for years. I really enjoy trying new restaurants.  My wife brought me here for my birthday.

We made reservations for 7 pm. We arrived around 6:45. When we arrived the restaurant wasn't busy.  We were seated quickly and looked over the menu.

I was torn between steak and the burger, but I ordered a steak and fries. My wife ordered pasta.

We enjoyed the atmosphere, and I googled the restaurant.  It appears this is one of the oldest restaurants and hotels in Kansas City.  It said after a fire the place was closed 2 years for remodeling.

I enjoyed finding the history of the Savoy. Our food arrived and we were impressed.  My steak and fries were magnificent.  My wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal.

When we were finished, our server (kyle) said dessert was of them for my birthday.  I chose the chocolate cake.  The cake was incredible!

I really enjoyed the restaurant, and Kyle said we could look at the hotel lobby.

This is a definite must-see if you are visiting KC. This is also a must if you are a local!

I look forward to returning to try that smash burger...

The only downside is that there aren’t many options for pescatarians or vegetarians, which can be a bit limiting. However, if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience with great food and drinks in a beautiful setting, The Savoy at 21 is definitely worth visiting!

We visited this place for our wedding anniversary dinner and it was exactly what I hoped for.
We tried Burrata di Bufala, Campo Lindo Chicken, smash-burger , Basque cheesecake and everything was perfect.
I also tried their old fashion and probably it was one of the best I have tried so far.
Overall I had an amazing experience, our server was also super friendly knowledgeable and made us feel really welcomed.
I would definitely recommend this place for a nice fine dining experience.

Visited for the first time for a friend's birthday dinner. They printed out separate menus for our table that said "Happy Birthday (friend's name)" which was so cute and thoughtful.

The atmosphere is fantastic- upscale but relaxed. Our server was very friendly and professional as well.

I don't think anyone had any complaints about all of the drinks and food we got. From the appetizers and salads to the main entrees and desserts, the flavors and textures were so well thought out. Couldn't be happier with the experience!

Went for dinner on a Tuesday evening in May. Was impressed with the artwork in the hotel lobby. Was seated quickly in the restaurant and then had to wait 10 minutes to even get a glass of water. No one came by to refill. Wanted the duck dish but was told they ran out, so had the gnocchi instead, and the quantity was just way too low. The staff was so occupied with serving all the white folks in the booths that I didn't want to wait another half hour to order another dish to fill up my stomach. It's quite an expensive place. Will not go again.
