Well known for their oversized and special sandwiches. I ordered a half size pastrami with a potato salad side and it was excellent.  Large number of bakery items.  Pickle bar. Really great service.

I recently ordered smoked fish from Mikey and Mel's Deli to serve at a brunch event, and I must say, it was terrific. The hand-sliced nova lox was absolutely delicious - perfectly cut and melted in your mouth. Everyone at the event was raving about it.

My personal favorite, the whitefish salad, was a pleasant surprise. I often find whitefish salads to be a creamy mayonnaise mess, but this one was different. It had super huge chunks of whitefish mixed in with a light creamy dressing, making it the best whitefish salad I have had in years.

I have always enjoyed going to Mikey and Mel's Deli in the past, but after this experience, I will definitely be using them for all my takeout needs as well. Highly recommend trying out their smoked fish and whitefish salad - you won't be disappointed!

Great as always.  This is one of the few places we visit regularly.   The sandwiches are gigantic.  The half portions are almost too much for one meal!  The pickle bar is special.

Our lunch trio made a tactical error today. We decided to return to Mike and Mel's deli the day after the start of Rosh Hashanah! It was very busy compared to our past visits. But it was great to see well dressed families enjoying their lunches during their holiday.

We had a small wait for a table , and then a another wait for the drink server to take our drink order. Our longest wait was for our waiter. The place was almost full. When she came, we pointed out the party next to us was there first and please wait on them. They were very grateful, and we chatted while we waited on our lunches.

I stuck with the pastrami Rueben and potato salad side. Overstuffed sandwiches were ordered by my friends. We all agreed the food was a 5 star treat!!!

Savannah was our server and she was excellent! She was so attentive and pleasant and we could've talked for hours! We will come again and ask for her. Also the food ---HUGE servings you could share. But extremely delicious.
