Incastonata in una splendida piazza ristrutturata da poco, si trova Villa Salina. Esperienza di gusto davvero da provare. Piatti dalla presentazione ricercata, accattivante, che colpisce il gusto prima del palato. Arrivano poi, ovviamente i sapori. È un'esperienza dove nessun ingrediente prevale, ma è un'armonia che porta, il commenasale, su di una strada verso la vetta del gusto, senza però le curve brusche a sviare l'attenzione. Notevole l'uovo cotto a bassa temperatura, su letto di raschera. Il cuore morbido del tuorlo abbraccia il raschera, addolcendone l'impatto, senza però farsi soverchiare. Nota di merito alla guancia di vitello, così leggera da essere quasi vellutata, riprovata dalla morbidezza, quasi un soffio di carne che si scioglie sulla lingua, esplodendo in un sapore bilanciato da lasciare stupiti. Il pane è top, morbido, delicato, così come i quadrotti di pizza, che arrivano tiepidi, ad accompagnare le portate, senza però riempire troppo gli spazi dedicati alla degustazione delle portate. Se passate da li, ma anche se non passate andateci, una tappa è consigliata. Sicuro vorrete ritornare

Then, obviously, come the flavours. It is an experience where no ingredient prevails, but it is a harmony that takes the diner on a road towards the peak of taste, without the sharp curves to divert attention. The egg cooked at low temperature on a bed of raschera is notable. The soft heart of the yolk embraces the raschera, softening its impact, without however being overwhelmed. Note of merit to the veal cheek, so light as to be almost velvety, proven by the softness, almost a breath of meat that melts on the tongue, exploding in a balanced flavor that leaves you amazed. The bread is top, soft, delicate, as are the squares of pizza, which arrive lukewarm, to accompany the courses, without however filling too much of the spaces dedicated to tasting the courses. If you pass by there, but even if you don't, go there, a stop is recommended. You will definitely want to come back

Ero stata con amici a mangiare la pizza un paio di anni fa ed era ottima. Siamo tornati ieri sera e tutti e 12 le abbiamo trovate deludenti: dolci, alcune bruciate, la salsa di pomodoro sembrava essere stata messa a crudo nelle pizze troppo cotte...spero sia stata una defaillance di una sera.

I had been with friends for pizza a couple of years ago and it was excellent. We returned last night and all 12 found them disappointing: sweet, some burnt, the tomato sauce seemed to have been put raw into the overcooked pizzas... I hope it was a one-night glitch.
