Beautiful bar with superb quality wines and delicious food.
Was made to feel very welcome here as a solo diner and had a great time.
Everything I ate was delicious, I especially enjoyed their Gilda made with artichoke.
I highly recommend this place when visiting Alicante.

Overprised and overrated. Carpaccio was quite tasteless, the crystal bread was too expensive for its quality, and let’s not even talk about arroz con pollo (24€ per person). The service was okay - there were lots of efficient staff.

At here last night and tonight. Absolutely amazing food. Decor and atmosphere felt sophisticated playing piano bar style music. We had bread, salad and paella on the first night and salad and steak on the second. We were served by Angel who checked on us regularly to ensure we enjoyed the food. He also pointed out gluten free options for my wife who is coeliac. 100% recommend

If you're looking for a place with nice food, amazing atmosphere and great service La Taberna is the place. The staff was so accommodating to food requirements and was so friendly. Since I requested the booking online for a big group they kept in touch on WhatsApp to make sure everything was okay. I was with a group of 14 people and everyone was impressed with the place and said it was the best food they had in Alicante. The restaurant was bright and the music was soft and in the right sound level, making it easy to talk with everyone. Anyway, I could spend hours here saying how happy we were there. Thanks La Taberna for everything!

even the most standard-sounding dish tastes super-fine and extra classy. Never had croquets so soft and amazing. The tuna tartar comes with a beautifully surprising list of sides. The services is first-class and the ambiente very calm and luxurious. My new favorite place in Alicante. The premium pricing is absolutely adequate.
