Decided to treat ourselves here for our anniversary and Cheals definitely didnt disappoint! From the pleasant decor and attentive service to the incredible food. We were excited when we found out they catered for a halal menu (which you have to enquire about 48hrs in advance).
We got served lamb rack for our mains, which was cooked to perfection. We both thoroughly enjoyed the sourdough bread and rosemary buns with butter which were melt in your mouth, divine🤩 Hats off to the chef!
We finished off with some lovely desserts and a little chocolatey surprise 🥰

Definitely would like to try the tasting menu next time!

Previously visited Cheals when based in Henley-in-Arden. This was our first time at their new location in Knowle and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is much more spacious now and the interior tastefully decorated. So, first impressions were great.

Our waiter gave a warm welcome and expertly guided us through the menu and wine list. A very capable front of house team.

My wife and I opted for the a la carte lunch menu and with each course our enthusiasm for the next grew. The hardest thing is deciding between all the tempting choices on offer, so if your budget stretches to it, I'd go for the tasting menu for a real treat. The highlight for us both was the dessert course. What a selection of moreish puddings skillfully prepared. Hats off to their patisserie chef.

We chose Cheals for our second wedding anniversary and were delighted we did. We'll definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend it to others too.

Came here for my 30th birthday celebrations, the food was incredible and incomparable! The staff were amazing I couldn’t fault it at all! Thank you to Matt and the team for looking after us!

Oh my goodness what a special treat this was. We had the 7 course tasting menu and everything was totally delicious, perfectly presented and delightfully served by all the staff. Being gluten free I was really pleased how well they could adapt the dishes for me. Definitely looking forward to going again, thank you 😊

A quant appearance from the outside, with an elegant surprise inside. The afternoon tea was delicious and beautifully presented! The best I've ever had. We'll worth the money. It had an elevated nostalgic feel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend and definitely return, as no doubt the rest of their menus are to an exceptional standard too. Very pleased and well worth the journey. Thank you.
