The temple of traditional French gastronomy. When I visited it was its last year holding the 3 Michelin stars which I personally believe they fully deserve (the guide can be quite punitive to such classic restaurants and favour too much innovation and exotic ingredients or textures without provenance 😩). Large portions prepared with top notch French ingredients and most dishes are finished at the table with classical presentations.

The Food Was OK. The staff was amazing! The atmosphere was ruined by another customer whom allowed their baby to scream for hours literally. It took the restaurant hours to nicely ask her to a private area. It was worth the experience. They were so gracious to give us a Kitchen and Wine Cellar Tour.

The service and food were amazing
Except some particular weird attitude of the cheese lady when I told her I just wanted one piece of cheese , mainly because I was full and due to the jet lag that was kicking in.
And also at the end of the dinner, I saw more than one fly or insect were eating up the cream of the desserts on the all you can eat dessert trolley.

I told the first waiter about it politely, the insect happened to fly away, so there were no follow up measures. Then another insect was eating up the cream on the strawberry cake for a few minutes, I told the second waiter quietly , he tried to shove the insects with a knife and that’s it. No intention to retrieve the cake or telling me the cake would not be served to customers. What I could only do was just not to pick that dessert and actually I lost quite a lot of appetite already.

I expected more in a Michelin 2 star restaurant than that or it is just European culture to share food with insects that I am just not used to.

My wife and I had a spectacular dining experience last evening at Paul Bocuse. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff and service were of the highest caliber and what can one say about the quality, presentation and wonderful taste of what is among the best food available anywhere. I highly recommend it.

A very good dining experience. Good service, good attention to the origin and quality of the ingredients and good presentation of the dishes. This restaurant deserve its reputation and a dedicated travel to Lyon for such experience.

Troisgros was an extraordinary experience and I hope that one day in the future, I can come back. 3 star Michelin restaurant on a gorgeous French countryside property with horses, a lake, mountain bikes, picnic areas, Nordic pools, spa and more.

The 11 course dinner was astounding. Prior to the dinner we had champagne and starters in one of the lounges and it was wonderful. The entire property is a dream. The rooms are beautiful, overlooking the farm where many of their ingredients are grown. The dishes were unique and most were profoundly new to me. The fish, steak, mushroom and shrimp courses were my favourite. Especially the mushroom- SO creamy. We had tea and little desserts to end off the dinner which was lovely. My one critique is they stopped pouring wine after the steak!! Could have done with a bit more wine. Especially during the cheese course. The desserts were very very creative.

A huge highlight, however, was the breakfast. It was SO delicious. Especially the tomato pastry tart. Wow. I dream of going back not only for the dinner, but for the breakfast!!

Cannot recommend enough. It’s a once in a lifetime dining experience. I think it would be extra special for couples, although I had a perfectly great time with my friends.

What an amazing hotel with their 3 star Michelin restaurant . We stayed one night and felt at home at once with the friendliness of the staff. It’s a renovated old farmhouse with some new buildings added , and all done almost perfect ( except lack of electricity plugs next to bed and too big distance to mirror in bathroom ) . But these small things didn’t destroy an amazing stay on this huge property with amazing gardens , forest , lake etc we loved it - from breakfast to dinner the service was amazing and food was also fantastic - we will for sure try to come back again

We came all the way from Manila to try this and it was worth the long journey. The food had a lot of technique , really good sauces and the cheese selection was superb. I suggest to do the tasting menu.

I would say this is the best restaurant as of to date that I’ve tried in Europe.

I recently had dinner at Troisgros and spent the night at the hotel. All I can say is that it was an exceptional experience. The food and the hospitality was outstanding. If you have the chance to stay here don't miss out on the breakfast either which was simply delicious.
