Good entertainment options and different types of cuisine (but not the best in the city I have to say).
I particularly like the musical attractions of independent singing groups and choirs that perform here. There are also good souvenir shops.

We were two and were automatically placed in the veranda (which was way too cold to properly enjoy the food). We were told they would move us to the restaurant “as soon as a table is available”. Result: we were never moved even though there were clearly free tables upstairs. The reality is that if you are two, you are automatically put in the veranda as they prefer to have free big tables upstairs and keep them just in case. I did not appreciate at all this behavior. All the people next to us in the veranda were cold. It is not ok to eat in these conditions. The food then arrived and this was the biggest joke. The equivalent of a single SPOON of risotto on the dish… I took the photo before even trying the risotto so it shows the quantity served. For the price in SA, it is not acceptable. I told Sarah the waitress and the only answer was “this is the quantity for a main, do you want to call the manager?”
Well clearly, it was a disappointing experience.

This place is fantastic.  The service was great, and the food was very good. Fresh and tasty.
Had the seafood platter.

Food would have received 5 stars if it was not so cold.
The service specially our waiter was amazing when we saw him as he was really busy on the night. The hostess not so much besides ignoring our requests and locking the access door to the restaurant while we are sitting outside in the cold. They do provide blankets mind you but the cape town wind has a bite on the cheeks. She could have been understanding to the patrons sitting outside who then have to go around the restaurant outside on the cold just to use the restrooms.

Absolutely great restaurant. Great location, very courteous service, fantastic wine and delicious food. I loved the prawns with lemon and spicy Mozambican butter, garlic chips and charred ciabatta.
