Absolutely stellar experience. The waiters, the sommelier, the 8 courses of absolutely versatile authenticity blew our minds. The wine pairing was a bit 🤏 much - after 6-7 wines we were a tad bit too tipsy to fully enjoy this remarkable experience 😹

I loved this restaurant! I’ve been to many gastronomical restaurants through the years and wasn’t sure what to expect from SA. I was very pleased with what Pier offers. I don’t specifically like shellfish and the chef adapted their menu according to it whilst keeping the same intention to the dish as the regular version. For the price, coming from London, you wouldn’t be able to find such quality for that price so that was in itself unique. Service was lovely, they’ve made the experience pretty interactive which I appreciated. The only negative point I’ll say is that the main wasn’t very good, especially the wagyu version of it was not worth the money at all. And although dinner overall was lovely, it was a long dinner! We got there at 20h and left at around 00h30+. I’d get rid of the main personally, to keep the high flavour profiles and shorten a bit the length of dinner.

We celebrated our anniversary at Pier Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The service was exceptional, attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly special. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with every dish crafted to perfection. The elegant atmosphere and stunning waterfront views added to the charm. It’s the perfect spot for a special occasion, and we can’t wait to return!

Definitely 1 of my best dining experiences in the whole of Cape Town. Amazing bold flavors, with fantastic balance, from start to finish. I would suggest lunch as you are able to take in the amazing view. Also when booking try to request a window table, it adds to the whole experience.
Service was exceptional. At the high standards here, Pier offers great value. A must visit if you are trying the best restaurants in Ct.

This is a MUST visit while in Cape Town. This is an amazing dining experience. Make sure to make a reservation and block at least 3 hours on your calendar. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a pescatarian menu option. There is a 6 course or 8 course tasting menu. We did the 6 course, and it was plenty of amazing food. The service was fantastic and I highly recommend even though it's a little pricey (but nothing compared to other major cities). The citrus gin & tonic was also fancy and delicious.
