The broth is rich and thick without being greasy or overly salty—perfectly balanced in flavor. The beef brisket is tender, flavorful, and easy to eat. The curry version is absolutely worth trying as well. The wait time is reasonable, and unlike the other ‘famous’ spot in Central, the service is friendly and welcoming—you won’t get yelled at here!

We tried this famous beef noodle soup place out a Saturday morning around 11am and waited in line for about half an hour. And it was so worth the waiting. We ordered the beef brisket noodle soup, beef brisket tendon & triple noodle soup also the curry beef brisket. The brisket noodle soup was absolutely my favorite, the clear soup was so flavorful and refreshing, the brisket was tender and tasty and the noodle was the perfect texture. The curry one also tasted a great! A must try.

One of the best clear stock beef brisket noodles I have tried in a while. Prices a bit steep at the moment for a bowl of mixed tripes, tendon n beef for 110HKD a bowl. Soups are refillable. Service staff are fast n reliable 👌😋

Recommended to me by friends and the Michelin guide. As with many of the small eateries on the Michelin guide in Hong Kong, you can expect to have to queue but, true to HK, there is great efficiency and as long as you're happy to share tables you can get in fairly quick.

Staff are to the point and furnishing is functional at best but the beef noodle soup is exceptional. The extras are not quite as good but most of the beef prices are excellent and the soup broth is delicious.

Broth: SS, 9/10. Uniquely umami and clear. Differs from other cuisines in its clarity and cleanliness
Beef: S+, 8.5/10. Brisket was fairly ordinary but the shank, tendon and tripe were nice
Noodles: SS, 9/10. Not sure how they do it but the vermicelli is super soft and silky
Value: S, 8/10. $75 for a basic beef shank and noodle is alright but each additional ingredient is $15.

Lovely beef noodles. The broth is so flavourful. The curry noodles are different from other places, but still very good. The Dan Dan noodles are not the best. Stick to the beef brisket broth. The boiled radish and fried fish skin are good side dishes. Wantons are not bad.

Service is quite friendly. There’s always a queue but it’s worth it.
