Altogether 8 persons.

Ordered 8 dishes and a pot of oyster porridge. Portion is big and food tastes okay.

However, seating is very packed and no distancing between tables at all.

Staff is also very stingy on chili oil. No initiatives to provide Chiu chow chili oil in a Chiu chow restaurant. When we asked for chili oil, staff gave us one small fish if it for 8 persons. Quite ridiculous.

Limited meal time for 90 minutes and always coming for reminding.

This place has authentic Chiu Chow cuisine. We had the deep fried oysters, oyster and meat congee, fish over daikon, deep fried fish cakes, marinated roasted goose and their special almond beef lung fish soup. As a Michelin recommended I expected but overall decent! Service was a typical and was busy when we were there but still had available tables.

Really tasty authentic Chiu Chow (潮州) style meal. Service and atmosphere also very authentically HK. Our waitresses were all very nice though. Would defnitely go back.

food was freshly made and was quite special! loved the oyster pancakes - super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. the fried noodle (shaped like a pancake) is also worth a try - pretty interesting although it was a texture i wasn’t used to 👀🫶🏻

Food looks great but it is mediocre-tasting food for a Michelin-awarded restaurant. Nothing too fancy. The most upsetting thing was the dishonesty and lack of transparency. They ended up charging us for a bunch of things we thought were free because we were not told otherwise. We were charged for the appetizers. They also charged us $60 HKD for the tasteless tea. On top of that, the service fee was 10% of our total bill while in most cases for restaurants that are not high class, they don't charge you tips or service fees. Had they told us they would charge us for these things, my rating might be higher. Instead they dishonestly snuck hidden fees in our bill. We will not be coming back again.
