Absolutely one of my best experiences for modern French cuisine with a touch of Asian inspired cooking here and there. The food was beyond exceptional. Every dishes were very thoughtful, elegant yet focused on the ingredients at the same time. Nothing tasted overpowering, boring but unique and memorable. I will definitely make time to come back every time I travel in Tokyo! Hands down a must visit if you’re looking for good food and great experience.

Sezanne definitely lives up to its reputation. The food is amazing, and the staff are impeccable, providing top-notch service throughout the meal. The menu beautifully blends different cultures, creating unique and flavorful dishes. The bread, in particular, is insanely good and highly addictive. Just be careful not to eat too much of it, as it might keep you from fully enjoying the rest of the meal!

I had the highest expectations for this restaurant as it is ranked #1 in Asia in 2024, and #15 in the world for the same year. It was overall an excellent meal but the “wow” factor wasn’t there for me. Technically perfect, a few fishes stood out such as the revisited Niçoise salad, the three layered oyster and the frozen mango with embedded shortbread. The service was courteous and without issue. Would I come back? Probably not as other Michelin stars provided me with a better experience.

Sézanne was wonderful. We were welcomed by smiling faces of the staff, sat by the bar for a welcome drink, saw the dining room and our table and had the best night ever. The dishes were excellent and the service was remarkable. So honored to have dine here. It made our Tokyo trip extra memorable because of this experience.

Definetely would not recommend, I dont mind paying these crazy prices when your meal is mind blowing, but out of 8 dishes I would recommend 2, so no, I do not suggest anyone to come here. I’ve eaten in pretentious restaurants before, some wow, some not so wow, this one definetely is a NO. Besides, portions are too small. Only because of the bread they gave us with butter (by the way, probably the second best thing here), and the cherry pie at the end (the best thing here) is that I didn’t have to go get another meal after this one. Would never return. Service and staff are excellent.
