It's amazing. Super tasty. Also, the staff and chefs speak English and give some explanation with each plate.
It's a bit expensive for me but worth it.

7 course omakase. Food is delicious. Only recommendation is to add a dessert at the end to cleanse the palate.

This restaurant is lost. It wants to be hip Kappo / upscale Izakaya and fails. The team is dysfunctional and arguing among themselves creating an odd vibe. Seating and reservation as well as pricing confusion abound. This mood carried over into dishes that were too bitter or just tasted bad. For the price you expect to elevated ingredients and flavours. After the great reviews I was hoping for another local option - oh well

We had a fantastic omakase experience at this modern Izakaya. It was actually one of our favourite meals, and we had a LOT of amazing food on our 2 week trip.
The space itself is gorgeous. Small, intimate, and just a great vibe to it as soon as you walk in. We seemed to be the only foreigners in there (which I always think is a good sign), and they gave us awesome seats at the counter with a full view of the chefs at work.
All of the staff were warm and friendly, and the chef took great care of us. He spoke enough English to be able to explain each course to us, and conversed with us so that we didn't feel left out at all.
The food was superb from start to finish, but the ham cutlet was the real knockout dish for me. They also had a great selection of natural wines. We felt that it was excellent value for money. I'd love to go back there on our next visit to Tokyo.
