A delightful experience. First the place is decorated in a contemporary and rich color theme design . The food menu consists of Asian and western combination dishes. Drinks menu is very good and have a lot of choices. My favourite is the Kap prao Nua ( Basil chili beef rice ) , the taste of this dish is very good . If you prefer more spicy, I think you can request the chef to make it spicier ( local thai flavour ) . Next dish I tried was the massaman beef , the beef is tender , I wish the sauce can be more tastier like a bit more spicy and stronger flavour . Last dish is the baby ribs , it’s quiet long ribs , looks good and taste good . However if it can be more tender and soft . It will be perfect . The outdoor seating is great , the view is beautiful and the seats is comfortable. It offer cigar smoking area which is very nice. Parking at the mahanakorn building basement , free first 2 hours and 300 baht spending for the next hour . But you can request hotel or restaurant to help you with the receipt for longer hours parking . Wheelchair customers is welcome and easy access too . Good place for friends or even family gathering . Last but not least , the staff service was excellent , great training from the management team 👍. We been taken care by one staff named khun Wan and he is very attentive and friendly for the entire service . We will definitely come back just because of the service itself . Overall experience , very good customer service and food is good and price is reasonable. This place deserve a second visit

Ask for Book and Name at the bar. They are master mixologists, friendly, and accommodating bartenders. They took good care of me during a solo stay and the owners of the hotel should feel lucky and honored  to have them representing The Standard. In fact, they set the standard!

The sight alone was tasty! Pre-ordered a viennoiserie box to eat at the Parlor last week.

Gotta say I had a higher expectation for the Pain au Chocolat of this mastery. Beautifully layered with a nice amount of butter, but that's it! Nothing sets it apart from other professionally made ones. You can find many less fancy PaCs in France (and even BKK) that are more memorable to the palate.

Pain Suisse (au Chocolat), on the other hand, left a better mark. The chocolate cream gave off an inviting hint of coffee. We argued on which was the best pastry from the box, and the star goes to Vanilla Flan and Chausson aux Pommes—such delicacies.

In the mention was Chocolat Fleur, a gem for those who love hazelnuts. The least fav had to be the Plain Croissant, for they took plain quite too... literally, but the disastrous award went to hot chocolate! Either sth went wrong in the kitchen or in the recipe. Tasted artificial. Couldn't finish.

Great service and super stylish decoration. Overall an enjoyable experience.
