The seafood buffet for 849++ per person was a mixed experience.

On the positive side, the buffet included several non-seafood items such as pasta and pizza, and salad bar. The dessert selection was particularly impressive and enjoyable.
The atmosphere had nice lighting, and we loved the view of the Pattaya night skyline. Service was also a strong point; the staff were friendly and very efficient at clearing plates.

However, there were some downsides. The selection of seafood was quite limited, and there was no sashimi and not 'real sushi' available—only veggie rolls, crabstick, and prawns rolls.
The cooking methods for the seafood are BBQ or Cajun stew, we found the Cajun stew to be too sweet for our liking (even when ordering the spicy version).
While the live music added a lively touch, it was too loud to hold a conversation comfortably.

For us it this will be the a 'once is enough' experience.

The scheme can be a bit confusing to non-Thai speakers but I hope my explanation below helps clarify things.

I was there on a Saturday. The seafood buffet costs THB 849 per person + drinks. You could order drinks individually but since I only drink wine, and wine is usually more expensive than beer in Thailand, I chose to have unlimited beer & wine option of THB 400 per person. Ok the wine is nothing to write home about. It’s a table wine, nothing really is special about it.

The seafood selections range from langoustine, rock lobster, salmon, butter fish, oyster and etc. Land meats are the usual plus lamb. Fruits and salad bars are expansive but my favorite is always papaya. There is a hot bar for some traditional mussel pancakes and the northern sausage; which is my favorite. Oh of course pizzas for those who don’t care for the selections. Dessert bar is filled with options to please everyone.

Here is the process, after you are seated the server will give you the pin pad (per photo), on the left is for the foods that you wanted it to be “grilled”. The temperature is what you need to choose. The white pin indicates “medium” temperature and the red pin indicates “well-done”. As for the right side, it is for when you wanted your foods to be “boiled”. The green pin indicates the medium spiciness of the sauce and the orange pin indicates a very spicy sauce.

You add the meat that you want on a plate and clip one of the pins on it before turning it to the kitchen counter for it to be cooked. Know that the meats are raw and would need to be grilled or boiled before consuming. I preferred it grilled because I can get whatever sauces on the side. The only thing that may possibly be eaten raw is the oyster. The kitchen will cook whatever you put on that plate according to the pin that you clipped on it.

While I love the concept, don’t go in super hungry because you might not get your cooked food back for a while depending on how busy the restaurant is. I hope this makes sense to you. I hope you enjoy the beautiful seafood that Thailand has to offer. This place is posh and the foods were delightful. Bon Appétit!!!

Breakfast is a bargain at 299 Baht. But overloud hard beat music had spoiled my appetite. And now that the music is good, I notice that all food that could contain a pinch of sugar contains it as an ingredient. Everything's oversweet: the noodle soup, the salad dressings, the pickles, the Massaman, the Indian curries. All cooks of the kitchen seem to be in a secret club of sugar lovers, and in total agreement with each other. Okay, the samosas were not sweet, but had no filling really, it was just a lump of fried dough, and so couldn't enjoy them either. It they had not missed filling them, they might have been just another more sugar bomb.

If your looking for a great buffet meal with a selection of Seafood (a little limited) meats and mixed dishes, with fantastic attentive service (thank you Dear) and a decent duo singing to top it all off, making for a very good night out… get yourself down to Big Fish within Siam@Siam, highly recommended!!

Absolutely love the sea food buffet at Siam@Siam. Having stayed in the hotel on numerous occasions the food, atmosphere and service continues to get better and better.
Great value for money. The freshest seafood in Pattaya and the friendliest service. Can't recommend enough.
