We visited in the morning on December 31, 2024. There were already a lot of people around 9–10 a.m. The atmosphere was absolutely crazy all around!

It is very beautiful to walk around in this area, very clean, very easy to get to MRT train station. You can visit the emerald Buddha temple, the old palace which is very close to one another.

Cannot go to the palace itself. But you can take photos in the statue of the King. Really good architecture building built during the 19th century when Thai made westernization of itself in order to defend itself from colonization of western forces.
