Cute little place, we went around 7pm on a Sunday so no wait or queues. Only downside is you can’t purchase individual ride tickets, only an unlimited ride pass for $65 per person which adds up quickly for a family of 5 especially when most of the rides look below average. If they offered individual ride passes maybe past 5pm it would be way more beneficial for the park and for park visitors

Luna Park is such a magical spot! From the moment you walk through the iconic smiling face, you’re transported to a world of fun and nostalgia. The rides are thrilling, especially the Ferris wheel with its stunning views of Sydney Harbour—it’s breathtaking both during the day and at night.

The atmosphere is electric, with laughter and excitement everywhere you go. The staff are friendly and do a great job keeping things safe and organized. It’s a perfect place for families, friends, or even a casual date.

Whether you’re after adrenaline-pumping rides or just a stroll through an iconic Sydney landmark, Luna Park delivers a memorable experience every time. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely loved it great rides for all ages plenty to do. Free entry just pay for rides shows etc. Food was fantastic staff very friendly and helpful.
Best buy tickets there it's quicker and shorter line up.
Pram and wheel chair access everywhere.
Parking Luna park has next door.

While the park is clean and well-maintained, some areas, including worn decals, suggest it could benefit from a refresh. The ticket price of $80 per person feels quite high, and food options are notably expensive. Despite these factors, the park provides an enjoyable experience for families, albeit with a sense of catering more to tourists.

Sydney Luna Park:

Luna Park has a great location, but overall, the experience was a bit underwhelming. The park is very small, and the rides feel outdated. The roller coaster even runs right in front of people’s apartments, which is quite strange and must be annoying for those who live there.

The only real appeal is the location—you get stunning views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House across the water. It’s also easy to get there by ferry or train, which is a plus.

Unfortunately, some staff members were not very friendly. As a New Zealander, I often feel this way in Australia, and it was no different here. In comparison, Rainbow’s End in Tāmaki Makaurau is much better, with more modern rides and friendlier staff. For the best theme parks in Australia, I’d still recommend heading to the Gold Coast.

Considering the small size of the park and outdated rides, the entry price felt a bit steep. A bit of a disappointing visit today.

If you are travelling to Australia, I don’t recommend you to come and purchase tickets.
