A local and non-touristy place, with simply excellent chocolates. We didn't choose from the menu, the bartender made us cocktails as a surprise according to what we told her we liked. is relatively close to the Danube River. The prices were a bit hi gh but the ingredients were fresh, the service was simply amazing and the taste of the cocktails was wonderful so it was worth it. The place has good music and an intimacy that you don't find in many places. We are very happy that we were able to get there as tourists and are sure that we will come back. Highly recommend

Everything was amazing at this cocktail spot. Their outdoor seating is great. I ordered an old fashioned (the bourbon was snickers-infused), which was perfectly made and not too sweet. The service was top notch.

Josef Cocktailbar is a must-visit if you are visiting Vienna and want to experience great service and excellent cocktails.

Throughout my three visits (Fri-Sun), I always felt incredibly well taken care of by the staff, special shout-out to Georgi, the mixologist extraordinaire who not only made fantastic classic cocktails outside of their regular menu but also widened my horizons with suggestions and alternatives to my orders.

Good amount of space to sit with friends inside and outside, medium to high noise level during peak visiting hours.

Will most definitively re-visit when I come back to Vienna
