A relaxed atmosphere, great music, and fairly priced drinks. The people are really cool, and I really enjoyed the live music. In the evening, there’s also a techno club downstairs, which is definitely worth checking out.

Filled up for a Jazz set which was an unusual, to my ears, experimental style. It was fitting, realizing the place is also open as a club other nights with other types of music.

Tip for the music - most of the hipster crew headed for the exit as soon as the lights went on to avoid a contribution.

The bartender who served us was old school Paris, attitude and all.

A good spot to see some hipster Paris style fashion.

We randomly went on a Sunday evening and appeared in an amazing jazz concert! Initially half-empty at 8 pm, the bar became crowded by 10 pm!

Jazz and techno CAN go hand in hand it seems.. in their separate rooms, but all equally appreciated!

A unique place with a lot of potential. Please note that I went on a Monday night so experience might differ however it was the same as a Friday night according to someone I was with.

The venue is really cool. It is tucked away in an abandoned railroad station hence “La Gare.” Upstairs is the bar and live jazz which played until 12 and then downstairs in the underground space is the techno. First off the jazz band was very good and skilled however my belief is that the slower jazz tends to attract a different crowd than the techno crowd causing lots of people to leave after the jazz finished leaving the underground techno slightly empty. The techno music and dj were also very good which surprised me. The techno vibe in this abandoned train station with smoke and lights going on is just amazing. I think that when there is some more people this place would be superb. Potentially some promoters, social media coverage, and maybe faster jazz people can dance too might help attract some more people. Overall still a fun and unique place to visit in Paris.
