I loved this place. Came here to grab a quick breakfast and was not disappointed.
The scones were AMAZING and so was the coffee, bonus for the amazing views of Notre Dame and the cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth the visit

Good coffee but expensive. Friendly service. Very small inside but good view of Notre dame from outside tables which are plentiful.

Neighbour and an extension to iconic book store is this cafe which serves amazing aromatic and lovely coffee and cakes.
It’s a great spot to read, has indoor as well as outdoor seating. The staff is very helpful and book store souvenirs are also for sale here.
Had an oat milk latte with side of Paris gazing and book reading. Will do again when chance permits.

Well, what can I say.  I had time to kill, so as this place was quiet (first red flag, i guess), I went and paid 5,50 for a latte, in a child size drinking glass. Yes, that's right, à drinking glass.
But before I paid for it on the card machine, I had the option to tip.
I'm not sure what I was tipping, possibly the waitress, to thank her for interrupting her conversation with her fellow expat friend, to take time to serve me?  Perhaps.
But it took 2 minutes for her to acknowledge my présence...
So I passed on the tip and paid for my coffee.
It was to drink in not Take Away.
Luckily, I've been to enough Starbucks to know one must then wait for their coffee at the end of the counter.
I assumed this was the case here.  I couldn't be sure.
The waitress didn't tell me that once she tore off the receipt, she went back to chatting to her loitering friend about boys and stuff.
Then 2 poor ladies behind me asked for white coffee.
I swear you could have heard a pin drop
"Um, is that like a latte or a cappuccino...?"
I think they settled on 'white americano' in the end.
Then my latte arrived, in said glass.  I knew I wasn't alone in thinking it was weird as the white coffee ladies also looked at me sympathetically, as did a nearby table who mouthed
What is that...?
I took my coffee, in it's glass and sat outside.
Luckily, I don't take sugar or need a spoon as god forbid I'd have had to disrupt a member of staff by asking for such fineries.
So if you like overpriced hipster coffee, go for it.
Plus side you can sit opposite notre dame so there's always that....

It’s a right next to the bookstore and carries the souvenirs from the bookstore.  The aroma of cappuccino is wonderful and staffs are friendly. The vibe is cozy and good for a break if you have a long walk in the city.
