It is probably one of the more outstanding Indian cuisine restaurants in the Parisian region. It's a more modern (rather elevated) take on Indian cuisine, which certainly stands out in the manner the dishes are presented. The drinks and appetizers were excellent, and we were very excited. I think in my mind I had far more expectations from my main dish which for me was a bit of a miss (let me clear the dish was great as a whole but I think I was expecting something more!!), hence 4/5 stars and not 5/5 from me, and I had hoped for at least 1 more vegetarian-friendly option for the mains. But I will strongly recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience an elevated take on Indian cuisine.

The menu is limited.
Some of the dishes, especially starters (Himalayan dumplings 🤌🏾) are flavorful and delicious.
Few others (dorade fish, pepper curry) lacks the punch.
Drinks & Desserts are nice.
The pricing is set for this to be a special occasion restaurant, not your regular fix for Indian food cravings.

We tried a few of the appetizers and our favourites by far were the Chowk Ki Tikki and the Three Lentille texture. The chowk ki tikki reminded me of a play on a samosa. So delicious and good! The Three lentille texture was a delicious surprise. We also had the Himalayan dumpling. Very good but the other two just really hit it out of the park.

Also try the chai! So good!

I visited Sharma Ji Indian Restaurant in Paris last week with four friends, and we had an excellent experience. The food was authentic and full of flavor, with a good variety of dishes to choose from. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our meal. The cozy ambiance added to the overall experience. Whether you're craving classic Indian dishes or something a bit different, this is a great spot in Paris. We'll definitely be coming back

The food is delicious and original, quite different from the usual indian restaurant, and in a good way (if only not for the price).. yet, I was perhaps expecting even more based on the Michelin recommendation. The wine by the glass is pretty bad; I went with mango-lassi instead, which btw is exceptional 👌. The service is a bit hectic but very friendly.  I give it 4 in this price category. But, if you are fond of indian food, it's worth trying it out ! Among the main courses, I recommend beef or fish over poultry dishes.
