The National Garden is a big and beautiful park in the middle of Athens, Greece. It's right behind the Parliament building and goes all the way to the old Olympic stadium (Zappion Hall). My daughter had a great time playing on the playground, watching the ducks and swans, and walking across a pretty bridge.

Amazing piece of nature in the middle of the city. Take the western entrance, take a picture of the map (I will upload it here as well) and start your tour by visiting every single number, you won’t regret it.
Beautiful, clean garden for a very peaceful and quiet 20-30 minute walk in the city center.

Beautiful gardens to go for a nice walk or take a break. The gardens are very close to Syntagma Square and Zappeion. There are statues and various flowers and plants throughout. You will see some Roman bath ruins as well. I recommend taking a photo of the map upon entering the gardens. Great place to find some quiet and enjoy some nature in the busy & bustling city of Athens!

The public garden is a serene place and has lot of special spots, ponds, playground. It has a mini zoo and numerous shady chilling places.
You can seat and relax or just walk around, spending a pleasant hour there.
