Great restaurant, great service, great food! My husband and I stopped in impromptu and Daria took amazing care of us. We got several of their small plates to try as much as we could! Everything was wonderful. I recommend you make a reservation if you are doing a dinner on the weekend!

This restaurant has a very modern, intimate dining space which is perfect for fancy date nights with a partner or a group of friends. We tried the grilled puffin, grilled whale, reindeer and salted cod. All were very beautifully plated and were delicious - food was well seasoned with some Japanese influence in some of their dressings. Wine options paired very well with the meals. Staff were very friendly and attentive. It is on the expensive side but it is certainly worth it!

Absolutely magnificent service. We came in here in a group of 3. We were celebrating a birthday. We ordered Tomahawk Stake.  It was amazingly delicious, and the presentation was flawless. Compliments to the chef, best one I've ever had to date. Our servers were incredible.  If i was a real restaurant critic, i would without a shadow or a doubt give this restaurant a 5 star review.
Our server was so nice, joking, lively. Sad that this level of quality restaurant is hidden from the street. It needs to be more visible. It deserves to be more visible. Absolute 5*

The food here was pretty disappointing. The atmosphere and service though saved this restaurant slightly.

The service is great. Very friendly, polite and attentive. Atmosphere was also great, some fantastic decor.

The food was a let down. The steaks were not good, we ordered the tomahawk, it was very fatty and chewy and the sauces that accompanied it were not nice. The rest of the food was pretty average - when paying these prices you’d want everything to be outstanding.

We have been dining on New Years Eve;
I am torn between 3 and 4 stars but decided on 4 for the following reasons:
The communication was always exemplary, thorough, and friendly.
I booked well in advance and requested a pleasant table, which was virtually promised to me. However, we were given a table in a corner near the entrance, where there was a draft. We did not complain, so we didn’t give the restaurant a chance to improve.

The food was good but not ultra delicious, and certainly not for the price. Unfortunately, it feels like in Iceland you often pay more than what you get—not just in this restaurant. A sad tourism reality, but that’s just my personal impression.

The staff mostly gave the impression of being temporary workers, which also doesn’t justify the price. Since the portions were a bit small, we asked for extra bread. Not only did they not have particularly good bread, but they also couldn’t offer butter—a very weak point.

Nevertheless, I’m giving 4 stars because, as mentioned, we didn’t provide feedback on-site.
I hope for the restaurant’s sake that it was just due to a busy day and staff shortages. Despite everything, we had a good evening and wish the restaurant all the best for the future.
