A gem of quiet elegance on a rugged mountain top. Understated and accommodating. This was a perfect stop for me driving from southern Italy to Rome. The waiter in the excellent dining room watched me devour my dinner pasta. Seeing there was only a taste of sauce left on the bottom of my plate, he said, “Would you like a little piece of bread to soak up that last  bit of sauce.” What a thoughtful gesture!

Location - view just wonderful, rooms just ok, with bed borderline not useable, service for dinner and food itself excellent. Recommended if you stay in a renovated room, the older part has very nice views but the rooms are barely 2 star.

Only stayed one night but the owner is so nice and staff lovely. Wines are super and dinner delicious. Book early if you want the diffused rooms otherwise it’s a pretty standard comfy hotel.
