I won a voucher on social media for 2 cocktails and a festive platter for 2. I made the booking and we visited yesterday evening.

Upon arrival you are greeted and seated and offered some bar snacks, water and a welcome drink. Our drinks and platters were brought to us and I must say both were very impressive. We ordered some extra drinks, wine and truffle fries which were great as well.

The bar and hotel are quite impressive and I must say I was quite surprised by how affordable the drinks and food on the menu was considering the beautiful location.

Service was honestly the best I have experienced in the Netherlands thus far.

One of Amsterdam’s best cocktail bars, on the more classy and sophisticated side rather than casual which I love because it is more professional and attentive in service. It is located inside the prestigious Anantara Grand Hotel in Dam square. Their menu is very creative and right now they are focusing on Chemical Elements, a cocktail menu inspired by the periodic table. Love it!

Even though my cocktail was just finished and my friend’s was still not finished, and I clearly said I wouldn’t be drinking anything else, they brought the menu 3 times at five-minute intervals and insisted that I had to order another drink.

This is not an ordinary place, and such poor pushing service is completely unacceptable.

Been to the Tailor Bar while in Amsterdam for a quick short vacation.
Staff is amazing, their knowledge goes beyond anything i have ever seen.
Special mention to Angelo, the fella from Portugal, he went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and efficient service. Wishing him the best!!

Pricey but good cocktails on their menu.  Where they lost the stars:  supposedly known to be a bespoke cocktail bar but when I tried to describe a cocktail with mezcal base, got cut off by the waiter and instead told to pick one from the menu.  So because of this I’d recommend going to a different place.
