2 large cappuccinos, 1 small freshly squeezed orange juice, 1 blueberry french toast and 1 scrambled eggs on toast cost us about 43€, which is a presumably fair typical Dutch price. Wasn’t that ‘value for money’, but it certainly wasn’t absurd either. The blueberry french toast was delicious and the whipped ricotta really adds to it!
As for the service, all the waiters/waitresses were very kind and helpful, as well as very cheerful. I really appreciated it.
As far as the cons are considered, we sat outside (at the table) and waited about 10-15 minutes to be greeted, which only occurred after 3 other tables had been full.
Soon, a long queue started to form, which was a real bummer, when taking into consideration that the people waiting were staring us down and waiting for us to be over with our breakfast. We anxiously ate, payed and left.
I would also like to add (and inform anyone that may be interested in booking a table) that (tobacco) smoking was forbidden in the outside area, something that really took us aback…perhaps the store’s management could reconsider the tobacco ban. Let’s just say we weren’t all that happy about it.
Overall it was an ok experience. The food was delectable.

Very busy restaurant, even with that in mind we were seated very quickly and served swiftly. No long waiting periods. I loved the hot chocolate, best I’ve ever had. Omg I recommend the croissants here. I would definitely come back and it’s priced fairly as well with big portions of food. Good value for money.

We visited for breakfast without a reservation. It was very busy, and there was no seating available inside. However, the staff kindly made room for us and offered us the option to share a table, which we didn’t mind at all. The menu is extensive, making it tough to decide, but we eventually went with the shakshouka and the French toast. The shakshouka was incredibly delicious, and the labneh added a great touch. The dish wasn’t too oily or watery, striking the perfect balance. Overall, it was well worth the visit!

Eggs Benedict tasted great but was cold when arrived at the table. More spinach than bread. My Son ordered the tomato soap which was very fresh tasting and blended seasoning well. Not really worth the hype it’s received

Great brunch place at Nieuwmarkt. Interior decoration is very cozy. Good for a get together with friends. I tried the Turkish eggs for the first time and it was amazing. There were 2 poached eggs placed in yogurt and chili oil. Very flavorful. Korean fried chicken was nice too - spicy, crunchy outside. The pickles on side were a plus.
