Very ornate church located on the town square. Very colourful with lots of gold used.

Every hour a trumpet played plays a short turn out of the 4 top windows in the tower pictured. Look out for him and give him a wave 👋

Spectacular Gothic Architecture Cathedral.

The Cathedral It’s superb preserved and presented ❤️Build from the contributions of the people of Krakow centuries ago and the people of Krakow today deserve to be proud custodians of this marvellous Cathedral ❤️
Ticket are symbolic price super cheap!
We visited for New Years and the llights of the Cathedral are spectacular at night !
It will remain as one of the best Cathedrals in Europe ‼️

What a stunning building inside and out , it’s cost 15z (£3) to get in per person. The trumpet player comes out in the tower every hour and plays a tune. The Architecture inside is simply beautiful.

We visited St Mary’s Bassilica in Krakow, Poland with our tour group and it is really stunning. Make sure to be outside to see the trumpeter come out of the window up high, at the very top of the tower at noon. It is usually a firefighter or soldier who plays every hour.

Inside you pay a small fee to see the gorgeous interior when services are not in progress. A tiny nun came out and used her long rod to open the huge doors, revealing the golden relics enclosed by the massive, beautifully painted doors.

The Germans actually stole the doors and golden relics during WW2 and the church had to fight to get them back after the war to reclaim them. A lovely place to visit.

What a stunning building! Very picturesque and it is obviously well looked after. Would highly recommend viewing on an evening if you can as when it’s all lit up it’s stunning.
Check out the door to the right of building with the shackles still hanging on the door! Good photo opportunity
