I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a coffee at Hotel Valverde Lisboa, and it was a delightful experience. This boutique hotel is cozy and beautifully designed, offering a tranquil and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the decor creates a warm, sophisticated vibe that makes you feel right at home.

The staff was exceptional—kind, attentive, and welcoming, which truly elevated the whole experience. It’s clear they take pride in their service.

Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee or planning a longer stay, I highly recommend Hotel Valverde Lisboa for its charm, ambiance, and impeccable hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!

I would give 100 stars, if possible. From the moment we arrived until the moment we (reluctantly) bid farewell, it was perfect through and through. The staff is an absolute gem who takes this hotel from an ordinary 5* to extra-ordinary. (A special thanks Ivan who assisted with our check in.)

We had a beautiful room overlooking the avenue with two cozy Juliette balconies. Despite it facing a busy street, the sound proofing was immaculate. The rooms are well appointed. After 2 weeks traveling through Spain and Portugal, we got our best nights of sleep here.

Each morning, we would enjoy a relaxing breakfast at the restaurant (which offers a continental buffet and a selection of à la carte dishes.) The patio instantly became a favorite spot of ours, an oasis for afternoon tea service and cocktail.

Overall, the location, charming design, and service really stood out against the rest. We definitely found our go-to hotel in the city and cannot wait to return.

Five stars in every respect. We loved our stay in this chic, comfortable hotel. The service, the rooms, the location, the garden... Everything was excellent.

Stopped by today for a drink. Very welcoming on the door. Very welcoming in reception. Showed us all the way to the bar and outside to the patio area. After that was totally ignored. No one brought us a menu for drinks. No one had any interest in serving us as customers in the bar / patio. Left after 29 minutes. Left feedback with the helpful person on the door outside as we left.

Leaving a review as the hotel has a great spot. Wonderful people welcoming you in, and lazy uninterested staff in the bar / patio area. Not what you want from a hotel of this standard. Very disappointing.

First the good things - very nice hotel overall on a beautiful tree lined street walking distance from most everything.  The staff are very friendly and accommodating.  The pool is small but very nice, and the garden is a relaxing place to rest in between activities.  Nice place overall.

On the downside, we stayed there twice on our trip as we were in a couple locations on holiday.  First time our shower had no hot water and after getting it fixed it was essentially frozen on one temp.  Our second room had broken AC and we were sweltering in the middle of the night - they did bring a fan which was helpful but by then our sleep was ruined.  And finally after arranging for early room service before we headed to the airport, our order was apparently lost, and the boxes we got on the way out had none of what we’d asked for.  We don’t eat sugar so the handful of sweet rolls weren’t any help.

We’ve stayed at Relais & Chateau hotels in Napa, Quebec City, Algarve, Lyon…this one doesn’t quite measure up to the high standards.
