I’ve been visiting San Pedro for 20 years or so, but today with the first time I’ve tried their coffee and ice cream, I should have done this a long time ago

I found a staff truly nice, polite and smiley.

The post below was 2019, now it’s Saturday 27th June 2020 and it’s day one of opening of La Soberana and you must Q for a seat this place is so popular, the home made ice cream is fantastic we love it - I’ve just had a large one with 3 flavours and I have just ordered a medium with coconut and cheese cake mmmmmm.

THE BEST ICE CREAM EVER !   Located in the San Pedro shopping street with lots of outside seating, its a prime people watching spot and is very popular with the local Spanish people as well as tourists. The family run business produces beautiful super tasty home made ice creams, my favourites are both the coconut and cherry, I also like a dozen or so other flavours. The business closes down for the winter but opened for the summer season 2 days ago and I think we were their first customers of 2019, since opening I have had 4 medium size tubs and one small this morning, (update I have had at least two tubs every day now, need to watch my weight ! ) their home made ice cream is irresistible and does not leave a bad after taste as some of the manufactured ones do, the cafe also sells food, coffee and beer.  Excellent prices and great value for money.  The staff are very efficient and there is a large outside seating space and super clean toilets.
