I sadly only took two photos as we were enjoying our food so much! Lovely service, the waitress was great. we hadn't booked so pushed our luck on getting a table on a Saturday evening. It was out of season in October, but it was still wonderful and really romantic and cute sat on the street opposite the restaurant. The tapas were really great, especially the prawns (see pic).

Food looked amazing and I wanted to eat there and I was standing to wait to be acknowledged/seated as there were two tables without a reserved sign. The lady saw me and walked towards me without acknowledging me (must have looked american and didn’t want to seat me) then I went outside to see other options and attempted to come back again. There was one party in front and they also had to wait but she came over and acknowledged them and gave there a table. There was one left without a reserved sign and all of a sudden she says sorry the last table went and i asked about the other one without a sign and all of a sudden she says it’s reserved and puts a sign on the table. Americans beware as they seemed to want to avoid us (even tho there is an English menu).

First time here, we took some tapas, the bravas were really good, the burrata with grapes 🍇 was not too tasty, different, then the tuna tartas just amazing, the dessert were lemon ice-cream with basil was amazing too, the chocolate ice-cream was quite ice ❄ but really good. The place deserve another visit and taste more dishes, I think this a gem 💎 in mao. Love the service Anna was so charmful and Pepe was caring, good combination for great dinner. The tables ate in the street but you enjoy it too.

Best patatas bravas ever! 🤤 The sauce on top of the albondigas was also amazing. The secreto was super flavorful and their sangria with cava was extremely tasty. Their coffee is  strong, which is great too. Super fun and friendly staff! Hopefully this will not be my last visit to Anna & Pepe.

Amazing food! Had to wait 30mins for a table but food came out quickly and was perfect. Would recommend! Zucchini salad was 10/10, as was meatballs.
