Excellent place we had read about in several guides. Our waiter was friendly and we sat outside. We got there a bit early I guess because there was a line by the time we left (an hour or so later). Every pintxo we tried was delicious and beautiful. Go inside and look at the offerings in the glass display. Our waiter suggested a bunch of items and we tried them all. Even the Aperol spritz was fantastic. The best we had ever had. Definitely have to get that recipe.

Worth the walk out of old town.. service was super friendly and attentive. Great food recommendations too. Loved their croquetas as well as their signature pintxos

The second of the tour this time I wanted the local wine Txakoli and wasn’t disappointed absolutely nailed it with a gentle fizz.  Asked for the pintxos speciality of the house again out of this world.  The amount of care put into the food here it’s a keeper.

A must go when in San Sebastian! High quality experience, both in kind hosting as well as in food and wines! We had ourselves a lovely Pintxo lunch and I am sure that when we come back to San Sebastian, we will surely visit Bar Bergara again! Eskerrik asko, team Bergara!

Honest Review: I ordered the Foie Gras Risotto and Au Gratin. Foie Gras is good, but certainly nowhere near the other options I had on my trip
with the rest being simply ok. The mushrooms inside the risotto were undercooked and closer to raw. Au Gratin was salty!

If you had to get one thing, it's the Foie Gras in some capacity. I'd likely skip all together.

Service was attentive and friendly! I wanted the food to be a lot better than it was, though. Maybe next time?
