Heart of activities, food and shopping hub. The top outdoor brands and restaurants are here yet over the years of modernisation, it has retained its cosy feel. It's lovely to walk through town, sit outdoors for a drink or food or just hang out and enjoy the hive of activities or quiet moments.

Unable to book a table in advance, and the whole party has to be there to get a table.
But worth the hassle.

Åre is a fantastic place. Sports all year round and the atmosphere is fantastic, even during the pandemic. All restaurants we have been in were well prepared and I felt safe everywhere. I can imagine this is the place to be for both winter and summer sports.
