I enjoyed my stay at the hotel! However, I did not have working WiFi for the entirety of my stay. I let the staff know each day I was there and I was told it had been fixed each time. It never once worked in the room from Monday-Friday.

The elevator in the hotel is also quite inconvenient - there were works ongoing a couple days which meant it was out of service, and something wrong with the doors which meant they often didn’t close and got stuck on floors for several minutes.

I called the wellness centre one evening to ask what the opening hours were for the sauna and was told it is open 24/7. I arrived over to the spa (the other side of the hotel) and was told in fact it’s only open from 9am-8pm. I arrived at 8am - inconvenient.

The opening hours are totally understandable, but it would have been good to know this before preparing myself to go over to use the facilities.

It’s a beautiful hotel, great location and lovely staff. However as I was traveling for work, the lack of WiFi connection and time delays with the elevator and wellness centre weren’t ideal!

Literally one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in London. A lot of amenities. Staff is ultra, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, large and comfortable . We will definitely stay at the same hotel next time we go back and I recommend the hotel to anyone.

I had a very pleasant stay with my parents at Taj St. James. From the moment we arrived, the staff's hospitality truly stood out. A special thanks to Mr. Ridge Fernandes, the Manager from Goa, who was not only wise and kind but went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. He showed us room options and took care of every detail from the start of our stay to the very end, even making the effort to bid us farewell personally.

Another special mention to Ms. Elvira, the restaurant manager, whose charm and warm demeanor made every meal delightful. She is one of the most welcoming and hospitable people I’ve encountered. Ms. Mona, who assisted us during checkout, and the housekeeping team also deserve recognition for their efficiency and generosity.

While the experience was largely exceptional, the property could benefit from a few enhancements. More elevators would be appreciated, as well as additional lounging spaces and a dedicated bar. The Hampton doesn’t quite do justice to the grandeur of the hotel, and a separate lounge or bar area would significantly elevate the overall experience.

That said, the location near Buckingham Palace, combined with the outstanding service, makes Taj St. James a memorable choice. Highly recommended!

Had a super awesome time staying here , their kind hospitality reminded me of India . The staff , all of them were very  friendly and kind , made my stay overly comfortable.
The location of this place was so convenient to go anywhere,being so close to Big Ben , Birmingham Palace and Trafalgar Square,walking,taking a tube or taxi .
Enjoyed their nice breakfast spread each morning with so much Indian food options.
Would love to come back to stay here . My best wishes to their fabulous team .
