A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle of The Barbican. Some lovely orchids & flowers out when I visited this march giving a pop of colour to the greenery of the planting. Plenty of seating about to sit a while & take in the tropical surroundings or grab a coffee at the bar inside the gardens.
Free to enter via tickets you can book in advance online.
Once finished wandering the conservatory there are several eateries & bars within the centre.

The only thing that can make brutalist architecture look appealing is nature and greenery, and this place has that in spades! It’s free to visit (although you do have to book a slot in advance), and it’s a lovely place to relax and contemplate. It’s even warm in the winter!

Managed to get a time slot to visit the Conservatory.  The main thing you can do is walk around and view the large variety of indoor (in this country) plants and look at the coy carp in one of the ponds. You can get a drink in here and maybe a packet of crisp but not much more.It's a charming and relaxing space in the middle of the Barbican which is architecturally very interesting.

Very nice place with some fish, tutels 🐢🥺 and  many, MANY plants! There were very interesting ones like the Angels Trumpets (if I got that correctly)
Overall 10/10 very nice place and I definitely would recommend to anyone who is in to this kind of stuff or even just for fun (although it is hard to book a visit in)

Love the architecture around the place and the dystopia vibes this place gives. However, was disappointed to say it wasn't how I saw other describe it. We weren't allowed in despite it being a weekday and open. There were no signs showing it was closed, the place was almost abandoned.

The plants were slightly disappointing, some needed more care than others and were dying. Other than that the place was definitely worth it too see the building surrounding the place. A must see once, maybe another day when it is open I will check it out but for now slightly disappointed.
