Fabulous beers, genial hosts offered tastings... Which is very much appreciated. PB&J.    Wow... Just wow... Will be trying to get our local micro pubs to get some stock. oatmeal pale just as good in a can!

A nice little under the arches style tap room. Really relaxed space with rough and ready finish as expected. Staff were polite and friendly, and ready to offer beer samples as necessary 👍. Beer list was extensive with loads of different styles and everything tried was great quality. A bit off the beaten track so a much nicer clientele than the other Shoreditch bars.
Side note: it even has decent toilets!

A great litte taproom, tucked away in the backstreets just minutes from Old Street and Hackney Road.
It's in a railway arch, and very cosy with lots of seating including comfy sofas and more regular tables and benches. Lots of  beers to enjoy, brewed on site, and lots in the fridge to take home.
Looking forward to my next visit!

Been meaning to try it for a while and it didn't disappoint, interesting beers, sour cherry is great. And staff were super helpful and knowledgable. Good atmosphere.

Large bookings are free for the month of January, which might sound great but they've planned it very badly.

They've clearly just taken bookings without thinking whether they had room for them. We were there on Saturday and they had not allocated us enough room for the amount of people we booked for and even tried to take one of our tables (that fit 6 at a push) and give it to a party of 10 that they admitted they had no idea where to put.

The staff were also quite rude, I assume because they were stressed. When I went up to the bar to say we had a booking I was ignored for a while whilst the bartender chatted to other people who were hanging around the bar, not ordering drinks. When I said we had a booking I just got a 'yeah, for?' back in a rude tone. I said how many people we booked for and the bartender just replied 'name?'

Its also under a railway arch with no climate control or ventilation so it was horribly humid. I can't imagine how warm it would be in the summer.

It's a shame as this place has great reviews and the beers were lovely but I think this policy is shortsighted as they might have a busy January but most customers won't come back.
