I’ll give it a 10/10 the shrimp roll was amazing with caviar on top, the hot fish sandwich was well seasoned. The chowder was nice and creamy. The oysters were nice and buttery and perfectly cooked. The presentation was picture perfect.

I visited Fishmonger with a friend, and we were both blown away by the food! I ordered the blackened fish sandwich, and it was absolutely phenomenal. My friend got the shrimp roll. The flavors were spot on, and while it wasn’t the cheapest option, it was worth every penny.

They also validate parking for an hour, which was a nice perk. There isn’t a lot of indoor seating, but they do offer outdoor seating, which worked well for us.

Overall, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back for another great meal!

Ordered the blackened grouper sandwich.  The atmosphere is very cool and unpretentious.  No table service.  Cooking the fish is slow, one guy and he isn't in a hurry it seems. He has two stove top pans going at the same time. Plan on at least 45 minutes to get your sandwich.
I NEVER received my sandwich, even after 45 minutes and had to leave for an appointment.  So... If you don't have my obligations in your life and can wait an hour for a fish sandwich, this restaurant is for you!  If you are a normal person and typically allow 1 hour for lunch, avoid this restaurant.

The owners confirms that they are not a fast food restaurant, which I confirmed. I don't know if the sandwich is good or. It because I never got my order.  After 45 minutes of waiting I had to leave for an appointment. I got a refund.

This is not a fast food restaurant for sure but 45 minutes is a long time to wait for a sandwich....... especially since I never received it.

The cashier said  "hold on I'm sure it's almost ready"

I've wanted to try Fishmonger forever. The restaurant feels like you're in a little NYC shop, it's great! Really human scale. However, I believe this was a case of bad ordering on my part. I had a crab open-faced sandwich. In my opinion, the delicate crab didn't stand out enough, it was overwhelmed by the sprouts and needed salt. The bread was the best part. I just shouldn't have ordered that... The dumplings were very good though- crispy bottoms, soft tasty filling and zingy sauce. I had a bite of my husband's mahi mahi sandwich and it really hit the spot. I will definitely try again!

Not a lot of dinning space, but we sat outside which was lovely to enjoy the streets lively energy

- Blackened grouper sandwich: a must get! The fish is very well seasoned and one bite into it, it’s super juicy and tender. I would describe this as the sea version of Hattie B’s chicken sandwich, another place I absolutely love. The Blackened grouper sandwich toppings add a good refresh contrast to the fried fish, and the toasted bun has a good char flavor with generous amount of sesame on the surface to give that earthy flavor to the overall dish

- Specials - Sea bass: the whole fish is amazing and I would recommend it if it’s available! It’s topped with some sort of whipped garlic butter, and as it melts through the grilled fish, it makes the fish much juicier than it already is, while maintaining a layer of its thin crispy skin texture
