Wonderful family run place with incredible food, great service & atmosphere!! A neighborhood gem.

Ethiopian food is one of my favorite cuisines and I've been coming here for over a decade. The quality is always spot on and it's great for groups. Stop by the indoor flea market next door for an Edgewater experience.

Really tasty food! Loved the beet salad especially. The dressing was really nice and it tasted fresh. Tried the national dish of Ethiopia, Doro Wat, and it was the bomb. Absolutely incredible.

Really nice retro ambience. The food was light and really delicious, with sufficient vegetarian options. The Ethiopian coffee was a magnificent experience. Best of all was the owner and the staff! They were so warm and inviting. Definitely hope to visit again.

My family had never tried Ethiopian food before. We decided to try this place in 2015 and wow… we now visit multiple times a year. It is our “go-to” for family events and when people are in town visiting. Even my sister’s kids who are 3 and 5 enjoy it. Even the picky eaters who have not tried a lot of non American foods enjoy it. I could not recommend this place enough!!!! The service is always good and the food is AMAZING.

Absolutely postitively amazing culinary experience. I had gluten free injera, split peas, collard greens, and cabbage. It was a complete flavor explosion in my mouth. I can't wait to return. The customer service was phenomenal and the beet salad was incredible!!!
