Burger its good, it is compared to the best in the city so it should be rated accordingly, also for the price, burger alone I will give 4 stars, very good portion, the sweet potato fries are 1 of the best.
The Gyoza was lacking seasoning.
The Tuna Tostada was missing some flavor.
The drinks appeared to be serve on the low side, less liquid than usual. My old fashioned glass was broken so they had to change my drink.

The burgers at this restaurant were absolutely phenomenal, easily ranking among the best I’ve ever had. The bartender’s attitude left much to be desired, as we felt a noticeable lack of warmth and hospitality. Despite the fantastic food, the service at the bar could definitely use some improvement to match the high standards set by the kitchen.

I had a subpar visit to The Izakaya. My friends and I were so excited to visit we marked the calendar almost a month in advance.
We ordered our beers, 2 appetizers, 3 burgers and a sushi roll all at once.
I’d say our beers took about 20 minutes to get back to our table. The burgers took around 35 minutes, the gyoza took 45 minutes. And after all our food was finished, the check was paid, the sushi roll finally arrived. We alerted our waiter a few times that the sushi had not been delivered. Restaurants are incredibly complex so I can’t say it was his fault, but somewhere along the lines an entire entree for my girlfriend was gone and did not show up for over an hour.
I spoke with a manager or GM who took it very seriously and was super apologetic.

For a fancy spot in west loop I expected a little better experience. The burger was fine to above average. It wasn’t warm and the fries were cold.
The gyoza’s were delicious and plated in a way I’ve never seen before. I’d highly suggest them.
The uni noodles were a small portion for the price but were good.

Overall I’d say there are other places that I’d visit before coming here. But the manager / GM was super sincere so I think I’ll try it one more time.

If I could give it 10 stars I would! I love everything about this place & will continue to come until we try every single thing on the menu!! It’s in the mid range pricy but 100% worth it!! I dream about the Uni pasta very often!! My partner had the Momo Royale Burger & said it was delicious! We also shared some delicious Gyoza & their Nagoya style Tebasaki Chicken wings are so flavorful & huge!! The Satsumanio Fries are so delicious & I usually am not a fan of sweet potato but these are so perfectly made! Now, I’m a big cocktails gal & you just can’t go wrong with any! My favorites for sure have been the Soba & Otaku cocktails. Please please do yourself a favor & go try this amazing hidden gem! The aesthetics are incredible & of course the service is just perfect. We can’t wait to have our next visit!

OK there are a few dishes here that are absolutely amazing but the rest are kind of just OK. That’s why I’m only giving four stars

The service is not great it’s a bit slow and also this is a very loud bar atmosphere loud music plus horrible karaoke singing in the background so if you don’t mind that great otherwise be warned

The tuna tostada and the king crab hand roll as well as the uni pasta were amazing and must try

The burger was fine but it just doesn’t belong on this menu there’s nothing Asian about it other than maybe the bun they use but it’s just another Smashburger you can get anywhere else taste just fine just seems out of place

The lamb chops were pretty bad extremely not worth ordering at all

The rice bowls are not great they need more unique sauces or some spice to them to make them stand out

The tropical sundae with mango ice cream was good and definitely worth
However the other desserts and the other ice cream was not great
