We walked in mid-morning on a weekday and got seated immediately.  We ordered duck hash and shrimp & grits, which were generously portioned and hearty enough to keep us full until dinner time.  Menu was a little pricey but overall good value.  Service was friendly and attentive.

I often look at places like Atchafalaya and label them as “bougie”. I’m a homebody who loves to cook, so I see the nicely dressed staff and white tablecloths and feel like I don’t belong. Total opposite vibes here! This is an “everyone is welcome” type place and the food is amazing! Our server Stephanie says she has been with the company on and off for 15 years and provided excellent service!! I’m celebrating my one year anniversary and my partner ordered the Duck Hash and I ordered the Burger. I was not ready for the surprise that came with the flavors inside the burger. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying! Thank you very much for the wonderful dining experience!!

Such a special place. We came here for brunch on a Friday morning. The service was outstanding. The food was amazing. We had the deviled eggs to start. Then in order of favorite we had the Duck, Korean chicken sandwich, and the breakfast risotto. We will definitely be back.

This place is SO GOOD!!! We devoured everything we ordered. Incredible. I wanted everything on the menu — I guess I’ll just have to keep coming back. The service was also amazing. Not only the servers, but the hostesses as well. One hostess went out of her way to make sure my family and I got a table on a busy Saturday. 10/10 great New Orleans spot, we will definitely be back again and again!

Extremely great service by our waiter (funny and described food with great detail).  Atchafalaya is one of the top spots I recommend visitors coming to NOLA who want to try elevated Creole/Cajun food. Pork Chops were perfect medium and collard greens is a nice pairing.  Shrimp and Grits are rich and flavor full with bits of of sausage throughout.  For dessert, try the Pistachio Dark Chocolate Cheesecake- the pistachio flavor pairs wells with the dark chocolate . The Bread Pudding is light - does not have a heavy rum flavor or has the rich sauce some traditional local bread puddings have in New Orleans. This place is a great spot for brunch or dinner
