Though the stairways can be slippery during rain, and the narrow paths require mindful navigation, especially for elderly and children, the serene atmosphere and panoramic vistas reward every step. For descent, a combination of cableway and electric battery cars provides a convenient and scenic route down the mountain.

The translation is ”The West Mountain Dragon Gate” this is also a very scenic area on top of a mountain where you have a complete view of the entire city of Kunming. The hike is quite long about 2-3 hours to get the the Dragon Gate and there is a lot of people there. But well worth the trip.
