Awesome science museum to visit, especially with your kid. We were only planning to spend an hour or two here, but ended up spending three hours. If it wasn't other plans we had, we could have spent a whole day here. Lots of cool and interesting exhibitions, as well as tons of interactive experiences. Higher recommend if you are in Tokyo.

Museum with robotics, climate change, aging, space, sustainability education. The topics and interactions were thoughtfully designed. The facility is striking. The dome theater movie on astronaut life was kind of boring. A lot of kids went there for field trip. The aging exhibit shows how aging people see, hear, experience. It helps the younger generation gain the understanding and empathy for the aged generation. It is rare to have that experience.

This is one of the best science museums I've ever been to. The museum is family friendly, interactive and most importantly for a traveller like me, it is foreigner friendly with descriptions and signs display in English.  The museum's highlight is the enormous LED globe hanging from the ceiling as you enter the permanent exhibition on the ground floor. One of the floors is dedicated to space, solar system and planet earth and explores how they all work together. There is a modelled international space station which you can explore what it is like inside. There is also a robotic zone which was a big hit for my first grader child.  Overall this museum is educational without being dull - the perfect blend of learning and play. As an adult, I really enjoyed this place. Note: There was no queue to enter when we went on a weekday and we bought the ticket to the permanent exhibition only (you can pay extra to access the dome theatre)

True to its name. Instead of just the typical science exhibits - showcasing basic scientific principles, it shares some interesting innovations and possibilities for future adoption. From therapy robots to methods for predicting future disasters and space exploration. Pretty cool stuff.

P.S. The Nobel Q wall - Questions posed by Nobel Laureates during their visit was also quite fascinating.

This is geared towards kids. I was excited to see the robots and innovation space but it was an interactive museums for 10 and under. It is a beautiful space and worth it just to see the space but the time it takes to get to the place is not worth the exhibits.
