Our first meal in Taipei. We heard that the dumplings were just as good as Din Tai Fung but cheaper so had to check it out.
We ordered a whole bunch of food. All of them were good but not great. The soup dumplings were ok. I’ve had better. The skin wasn’t silky and the soup and beef ratio was off.
My favourite was the shrimp dumplings. The sauce station had a good selection. They clear stuff out as you finish it. Not a place to chi chat. Eat and go but not pushy type of go. They were pleasant so I didn’t feel rushed.
Meal costed 1650 NTD. Expensive for a bunch of appetizers. There was a huge lineup after we left so come early.

The restaurant location is easily accessible as it is just behind the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
This is my second visit after COVID.
Have arrived around lunch time and waiting time is reasonable on a Monday afternoon.
Must try food : steamed dumplings, drunken chicken, potstickers, cold side dishes- braised beancurd, pickled cucumbers, ikan boils with beancurd and green chilli, pig ears. For dessert, the red bean pancake can give it a miss as the pastry is too thick.

I believe this is still the best xiaolongbao I have ever tasted in my life. The flavor of the xiaolongbao here is beyond words, truly exceptional and unlike anything I have ever experienced before. I have already visited this place twice on my own, and I am eager to go back again. Every bite of the dumplings is filled with rich, flavorful broth and perfectly balanced fillings. If you're a fan of xiaolongbao, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic and delicious xiaolongbao.

Their steamed food was ok, wouldn’t say it’s the best but just okay. Their crab roe dumpling didn’t have much crab roe in it, and their service isn’t very great. We were given a table that was very low and had squatting seats. We had a child with so asked to have a normal higher table to make things easier. And they were reluctant at first to let us swap. Even though there were plenty of open tables around.

Om Din Tai Fung är för lång att vänta, rekommenderar jag att du kommer hit. Jag tog min vän hit och hon gillade det verkligen! Det är också ganska billigt. I jämförelse är denna plats snabbare och mycket självbetjäning. Jag skulle säga att det verkar vara mer lokalt men med många turister. Deras ursprungliga xiaolongbao i jämförelse med Din Tai Fung är faktiskt inte för annorlunda. Jag säger att Din Tai Fungs tryffel xiaolongbao är dock väldigt bra! Så om du vill betala mindre, planera att ha grundläggande smaker om xiaolongbao och vill hoppa över väntan, prova definitivt denna plats.

Vi försökte Din Tai Fung Xin Yi. Men den långa köen och dörrskylten som tyder på att vi kan förvänta oss upp till 3 timmar väntar skjuter oss bort. Så vi åkte till Hangzhou Xiao Long Bao, mindre än 1 km bort, och även om det fanns en kö var det ingenstans lika dåligt. 20 minuter vänta och vi satt, efter att ha hälsat med en leende kille bakom entrédisken (ägaren?). Maten var exceptionell och mycket prisvärda. Tjänsten var också bra och vår beställning serverades inom rimlig tid. Jag har inte prövat Din Tai Fungs klimpar och jag kan inte göra en jämförande bedömning. Men jag skulle ha denna plats dumplings varje dag, för hur bra de är. Högt rekommenderad!

Detta är en restaurang utan krusiduller som serverar Xiao Long Bao och andra snacks. Nästan allt är självbetjäning, och det finns vanligtvis en kö på cirka 15 till 45 minuter, även om det rör sig regelbundet. Det kan inte jämföras med DinTaiFung helt enkelt eftersom det inte är i samma klass, men det serverar grundläggande kvalitetsmat som både lokalbefolkningen och turister kommer i kö för.

Vi åkte till Hangzhou Xiaolong Bao för vår första middag i Taipei. Vi anlände ganska sent och strax innan de tog de sista beställningarna. Därför beställde vi alla våra rätter samtidigt. Personalen var mycket vänlig och effektiv. Maten är utmärkt. Priserna är lite högre än vad vi såg på andra platser. Men kvaliteten på maten var verkligen värt det. Jag rekommenderar varmt platsen!

Vi fick griskött och grönsaksbao, räkor och klimpar. Allt var bra, men bao var bra - bara få en massa bao, hoppa över resten.

Det var en kort promenad från Chiang Kai Shek-minnesmärket och medan det finns en kö som väntar utanför restaurangen på en fuktig dag, var väntan inte lång och för att påskynda serveringen av maten får du menyn för att beställa din mat medan du väntar på att bli sittande. Efter sittande serveras maten inom 10 minuter.

Vi beställde Xiaolongbao, fläsk och gröna lök dumplings och den marinerade biff wrap och jag hittade fyllningen i dumplings lite för tät och min man tyckte att biff wrap kunde ha gjort utan gurka. Trevligt för ett litet middagsmiddag besöker minnesmärket över gatan.

Du måste gå hit för de bästa taiwanesiska dumplingsna i världen! Betala endast kontant, så kontrollera att du har rätt belopp på dig! ; )

Jag kunde inte vänta på soppa dumplings längre och var tvungen att vänta på min mamma att komma till Taipei för vårt traditionella Din Tai Fung besök så jag tittade online och hittade den här platsen som också nämns i Michelin Guide. Det är runt sidan av CKC Memorial Hall och ganska lätt att upptäcka vid linjen. Jag kom på en söndag klockan 2:30, men en bussbelastning av koreanska turister hade just descended så det handlade om en 35-40 minuters väntan. Jag lade upp min beställning och överlämnade den när jag satt. Denna plats är mer kausal, mer kaotisk, mindre raffinerad men billigare och med en annan meny än DTF så det var en trevlig upplevelse. Jag beställde soppa dumplings, räkor dumplings, nävekaka, fläsk revben och en tofu soppa. Jag delar bordet och de beställde också musslor med grönsaker som också såg fantastiskt ut. Jag tror att deras soppdumplings inte är så saftiga som DTF men de andra objekten som DTF inte har var bra. Om du vill ha en förändring av takten, kolla definitivt denna plats.

Gick här som vi ville ha någon annanstans till Din Tai Fung som vi har det där vi lever. Xiaolongbao var bra, inte så soppa som jag skulle ha väntat men potten klistermärken var enorma! Dess en grundläggande restaurang men alla interaktioner vi hade med personal var vänliga och varma. Försök!

Jag hittade maten här för att vara bättre än hos Din Tai Fung, men platsen är lite grimy. . . Mindre val på menyn, men deras dumplings är bomben! Full av smak. De skulle kunna hålla det lite renare men. . .

Vi anlände runt 2 pm och var tvungna att vänta ca 20 minuter, vi var 14 nummer borta. Kön rörde sig ganska snabbt och jag gillar nummersystemet. Men xiao långa baos föll under mina förväntningar. Huden är för tjock och inte mycket soppa (som är huvudkärnan i xiao long bao). Soppan är också intetsägande, inte välsmakande alls. Det värsta är att även vinägerna var så intetsägande, jag visste nästan att jag tog fel sås för sojasås. För en plats som specialiserar sig på xiao long bao, är detta verkligen oacceptabelt och inte värt kalorierna alls. Jag hade försökt trevligare och bättre på andra ställen.

Det här stället är mycket bra. Den xai lång bao är mycket bra. De har den bästa potstickers jag har någonsin ätit. Priserna är mycket låga. Njut av. För lunch på vardagar väntan är mycket kort. Vi väntade mindre än 5 minuter.

Vi åkte till restaurang efter omdömen från Thailand, men vi blev riktigt besviken. Kvaliteten på maten är. . . . . . . Vi beställde: fläsk Xiaolongpao Pumpa kaka Gyoza räkor alls ångkokas ha lagat Gyoza är ok, men andra är mycket dålig. För tjockt med pulver, välsmakande är sådär. Jag tror dimsum i HongKong är verkligen bättre : ) ไม่แนะนำให้มา รสชาติไม่ผ่านเลย แป้งหนามากทุกอย่าง เสี่ยวหลงเปาแป้งหนาและเหนียวมาก ตัวเกี๊ยวกุ้งแป้งก็หนาสุดๆไปเลย เพลีย ตัวฟักท้องเค้กข้างในเป็นไส้เผือกอร่อยดี แต่ตัวแป้งหน้าเป็นนิ้วๆ = = ดีสุดคือเกี๊ยวซ่า เพราะแป้งบางสุดหละ
