Early evening, we were there this evening in a group of four. We were offered one of the tables immediately.

The crowd started to stream in gradually as the night progressed.

We loved the drinks we ordered. As for the food, they could be better seasoned.

The service staff were prompt throughout our time there.

This is my third visit to Vesper. The menu was changed since my last visit. If I am not working, the new menu offers a narrower selection.

Really nice cocktail bar. We happened to drop by right before some special guest bartenders from a Singapore bar came by for a shift that night with a special menu! Cool to be there for that. We arrived around 7pm on a saturday with no reservation and got a table within 15 minutes. I highly recommend a reservation for later times though.

Good music that’s not too loud, aesthetically pleasing decor, comfortable seating.

I deducted a star because I actually don’t drink alcohol and the mocktail menu was not good or enticing. I asked if the bartenders could make something on the fly for me and I was told no, to refer to the mocktail menu (of 4 drinks). I’ve been to TONS of bars in Bangkok and this is the first one that had such an abysmal mocktail menu AND wouldn’t accommodate a non-alcoholic drinker. I tried the Giarbaldi out of recommendation but it was too sweet so I only had 1 drink the entire night while others I was with drank their cocktails.

Mind you I asked for this BEFORE the guest bartenders with a special menu showed up at 8 so I was not asking this during the event. Disappointed.

I love the crafted drinks at Vesper! I requested something off-menu with a peanut butter flavor, and the bartender delivered perfectly.

The Mango Sticky Rice drink, with hot foam on top and a cold drink at the bottom, was a standout.

The staff were accommodating and friendly. I also enjoyed the vibes and aesthetics of the bar—bespoke and professional. Highly recommend!

One of the best nights I had in Bangkok was spent right here!! Since the bar was near where I stayed, I and my partner dropped in early to try our luck for a spot.

Upon arrival, we had to wait around 40 min as the bar was really packed. We were quite lucky to get a table by the window when it’s our turn!

Feeling “thirsty” by then, we ordered 2 drinks first - Vesper of the month and Japandan. Of the 2 I like the Japandan better, good mix of the yuzu but not overpowering. It’s not too strong, so my partner could finish it all on his own! The Vesper of the month had a stronger Vermouth taste, but too strong to cover the other tastes. 😅

Looking for a better kick, I ordered the tea garden for sharing. Oh my look at how beautiful it is!! The gin was also really tasty. Well balanced with the herbs infused, it’s a smooth and fragrant cocktail rarely encountered.

Last but not least I had a Mojo booster to wrap up the night. It had a Thai herb that I was interested to know the taste. It’s actually quite spicy (not hot nor herby, but something like a curry herb), but it’s balanced with the vinegar in it.

It’s such a fun and friendly atmosphere. Really loved it here. Will be back again when I’m back in town!!
