I love this restaurant!
Zagreb has been a place we stay because we need to get to the airport early, not a destination for exploring etc.
Pod Zidom changed all of that. PZ makes me want to come back just to enjoy the food and service of this wonderful restaurant.
It's well located in the beautiful historic part of the city and very accessible from most Hotels.

Our experience at Pod Zidom was a gastronomical success and we loved every single dish we tried combined with the wines that our amazing waiter Marko suggested us. Every single dish was a surprise and we loved all of the them. The combination of the good food the amazing service and the atmosphere was one of our best experiences. Definitely we would go again if we visited again Zagreb.
We recommend it hundred percent!!!

We had a wonderful experience at Pod Zidom.  It was a very inventive menu and was executed brilliantly.  The “open lasagna” with rabbit ragout was one of the best dishes we enjoyed on our month-long trip.  The wine list is deep and fairly priced.  Service (Marco) was impeccable. Top recommendation.

Had lunch in Pod Zidom Bistro. This is a Michelin recommended restaurant. We each had the most delicious mushroom and chestnut soup to start, bread with a variety of spreads and a main course each. The food was good though my steak was a good piece of meat it was surprisingly dull. Sounds a bit strange to say the meat was dull but it was. The rest of the plate was interesting. Good coffee to finish our meal.

The service excellent. This is a popular bistro amongst locals and seems to have been 'discovered' by tourists. It was busy while we were there.

We had the meal of a lifetime.  We were not expecting to have such an amazing and memorable experience. We happened upon the restaurant on a random Wednesday night and were so lucky that they were able to accommodate our family of five.  We had tuna tartar and squash blossoms as starters. Both were outstanding. Dinner was beef cheeks (all decided this was the dish of the night) lamb gnocchi, and oxtail risotto. We also had their propriety red wine (2 bottles!) it was so good.  The service was attentive yet relaxed. It was just such a fantastic meal and experience.  We were in Zagreb for only one night and we were so fortunate to have this experience. If you have the chance do not miss this restaurant!

Jag har besökt 15 olika länder i år och detta var bortom allt tvivel den bästa måltiden jag ätit på den tiden. Servicen var oklanderlig. Äppel- och kålrabbisallad var en fröjd. Superb nötkött kinder med dumplings så lätt att de måste ha haft helium som en stor ingrediens. Desserten var av denna värld.

Vi stannade här för middag. Vi hade inte en bokning men de rymde oss och utanför, där vi ville vara. Vi insåg då att det är en Michelin Guide rekommenderad restaurang. Det var inte billigt men maten var extraordinär, liksom servicen. Fantastiskt litet ställe.

Så vi sprang förbi här vid 5 : 30 för att passa in middagen innan operan (bli inte imponerad, 1/2 en opera egentligen). Vår servitör var fantastisk, och vi älskade maten. Jag önskar att vi hade kunnat stanna längre. På något sätt passade vi i en snabb dessert. . .

Utmärkt mat vi beställde nötkött kinder och anka ragu, smaker av denna värld, vinet också var bra. Enda frågan var Servicen var inte bra alls

Härlig plats i hjärtat av staden, precis intill huvudmarknaden. De använder några av ingredienserna från grannen. Trevlig inredning, vänlig och informativ personal.

IT utan tvekan den bästa restaurangen i Zagreb och efter 2 år sedan jag gick dit för första gången, det återstår att vara min favorit restaurang att någonsin ha besökt! Bland många höjdpunkter finns talangfull och professionell personal som vet mycket om mat och kroatiskt vin, fantastisk mat speciellt fisken, mysig atmosfär och kvalitetsvin. Denna restaurang kommer för alltid att ha en plats i mitt hjärta och kommer att vara en av de främsta anledningarna till att jag besöker Zagreb igen i framtiden!

Vi stannade till för middag längs vår 12 - dagars roadtrip genom Slovenien och Kroatien. Jag började med en trevlig & uppfriskande gazpacho som var lätt och smakrik med bara en fin hint av tang. Det följde jag med Beef Cheeks som jag tyckte var supermöra och smakrika med fylliga degknyten och en lätt palsternackasås. En läcker chokladganacheöken rundade av. Alla parades ihop av en perfekt komplimenterad torrväljare röd. Sammantaget var det en av de bästa måltiderna vi hade längs hela vår resa! Jag rekommenderar starkt att kolla in det för middag om du är i Zagreb.

Pod Zidum var en riktig behandling - cool atmosfär med utmärkt service och fantastiska gård till bord erbjudanden. Vi delade en mängd olika tallrikar och var och en var vackert presenterade, väl - kryddade och kreativt komponerade. Ceviche och nötkött kinder var särskilt stand - outs. Bra vinlista också. Rekommenderar starkt för en härlig, avslappnad middag ute!

Utmärkt bistro - uppfinningsrik färsk mat och läckra lokala vinalternativ. Personalen var mycket vänlig. Rummet är tyst och välutrustade - bekväma och inte rörigt. Vi valde säsongens färska objekt - och var inte besviken alls. Gazpacho var det bästa jag någonsin haft. Gjord med rostade körsbärstomater och en hint vitlök. Kummelfilé förrätt och risotto med beefsteak var utsökt också. Dekonstruerad hallonostkaka var sublim med hemlagad hallonsorbet

Rätterna är mycket välsmakande, med ofta en intressant kombination av ingredienser. Väl presenterad och en mycket vänlig och uppmärksam service.

Min man bokade Pod Zidom som en speciell födelsedag / årsdag middag. Vi var utmärkt omhändertagna av Adem som var trevlig, kunnig och hårt arbetande. Vi hade ett litet problem med flugor som han hanterade snabbt och effektivt och vi kände oss verkligen omhändertagna av honom. Staterna var fantastiska, både kroketter och burrata presenterades vackert och smakade gudomligt, husets vin var också värt att nämna, vi uppskattade att inte bli mersåld och skulle definitivt rekommendera att följa med någon måltid. Måltiden var utmärkt valuta för pengarna men vi kände oss hemska att inte kunna ge Adem dricks via vår kreditkortsbetalning eftersom vi inte hade några kontanter på oss och han kunde inte köra dricks genom transaktionen. Vi ville verkligen erkänna hans tjänst och om vi inte hade varit tvungna att lämna Zagreb tidigt följande morgon skulle vi ha gjort ansträngningen att titta in igen med en kontant dricks. Jag hoppas att restaurangen inser vilken stor tillgång de har i Adem och belönar honom därefter, jag är säker på att vi inte är de enda kunderna som inte kan ge dricks. Allt som allt en fantastisk kväll på Pod Zidom, skulle vi starkt rekommendera för en opretentiös, men ändå utmärkt levererad och välsmakande måltid.

Mycket trevlig måltid och service på Pod Zidom Bistro. Jag gick in och kunde säkra samma kväll reservation för en på en fredag. Det var en nationell helgdag så det är möjligt att restaurangen var mindre upptagen. Beställde Amberjack som förrätt - wow, en explosion av härliga smaker. Rekommenderar starkt! Som huvudrätt valde jag säsongens lamm- och bondbönorrätt. Det var snyggt presenterat och välsmakande. Till efterrätt åt jag choklad och apelsin - perfekt slut!

Utmärkt mat, vin och service. Från de perfekta servetterna genom den avslappnade atmosfären och bra musik till smakupplevelsen var detta en riktigt bra restaurang med ett centralt läge i Zagreb.

Trevligt och mysigt ställe precis vid det centrala torget, öppet på söndagar och en hyfsad meny. Tonfisktartar var ganska god och snyggt presenterad och jag njöt verkligen av grillad fiskfilé var underbar. Förrätter ligger i intervallet strax under 20 euro och huvud runt 30 euro. Fint urval av kroatiska viner av glas, god vitlöksros. För fyra personer inklusive en del vin kom upp till 280 euro. Bra service.

Jag tyckte att maten var medioker och skulle verkligen inte rekommendera det. Majonnäsen i risotton är knappast något som kan kallas fine dining.
