A truly memorable Advent dinner! The historic Esplanade Hotel surroundings added a special ambience to it. The kitchen and waiter went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us including an anniversary cake and more. Overall, a very memorable evening. We will be back for sure!

The food here is of high quality. My husband had the wagyu beef and he loved it. I had the fish and it was tastefully done as well. The ambience and service is great. We had many little complements from the chef as well. We were seated indoors near the windows which felt very secluded and nice with a candlelight.

Amazing modern restaurant with vintage vibe. Service was amazing and food was beyond expectations. Menu is clean with good selection. Wine list is also excellent. If you are looking for nice place to enjoy your evening you should definitely visit.

Great experience, on Sundays they have a set brunch menu 4 courses and each course you jave 3/4 choices, and last one dessert you get little bit of everything.  Portions very good and a bit big.  Food was very good and tasty and service very professional w a touch.  Deff a good place for something different.

This restaurant is located inside the hotel after passing the bar. The servers were very attentive and explained each dish that was served. By chance, this saved me because I forgot to notify them (and I was not asked) that I was allergic to peanuts. The atmosphere was intimate and classy. Dinner was served under the flickering candle light with fresh roses on the white tablecloth table. Perfect place for a date night. They had a extensive wine list, with a sommelier on staff to help if needed. I had the fish and beef steak, both were delicious!

Vi hade precis anlänt till hotellet och bara gått in och satt oss för lunch. Vi fick en dålig start för att jag beställde ett glas champagne. De fyllde glaset mindre än hälften (eftersom flaskan nästan var tom). När de inte kom tillbaka för att fylla upp det började vi ett samtal om huruvida det var ett helt glas eller inte, och förklarade att det var ”fin middag”, etc. etc. Till slut kom någon till sans och hämtade mig ett fullt glas. Efter den lunchen (Tomato Confit, Sea Bass) var spektakulär på alla sätt och vis. Bra mat. Bra personal. Tack så mycket.

För vår första natt i Zagreb, beslutade vi att äta på Zinfandel's och gjorde en bokning genom Open Table, ungefär en månad innan ankomst. När vi möttes varmt av hovmästaren, fick vi veta att vi inte hade en bokning eftersom de slutade ta Open Table reservationer för den kvällen! Tack och lov återhämtade han sig snabbt och hittade oss ett vackert intimt bord för att börja vårt kulinariska äventyr. Drago var en fantastisk servitör - han presenterade oss med några välsmakande mousserande vin att välkomna oss och erbjöd utmärkta rekommendationer om viner och favoriträtter. Vi njöt grundligt av krabbförrätten och fasanconsommen med en raviolo till förrätt - både utmärkt kryddad och en vacker harmoni av smaker. Min mans hjortköttsfilé kokades till perfektion och min pocherade torsk var lätt, flagig och väl - portionerad. Kudos till Zinfandel team för en härlig kväll och stort tack till Drago för sådan bra service - vi hoppas att återvända!

Detta var den enda "fine dining" måltid vi hade i Kroatien området som inte var en besvikelse. Måltiden och servicen för oss var utmärkt och vi har haft erfarenhet grundligt. Några av de negativa recensioner vi läser här för denna anläggning beskrivs våra erfarenheter från Dubrovnik, Split, Ljubljana, Rovinj och även Venedig efter att ha lämnat Kroatien. De flesta av dessa andra platser hade både positiva och negativa recensioner så vår erfarenhet på Zinfandel's kanske inte är en konsekvent prestanda. Potentialen för spetskompetens nåddes enligt vår erfarenhet, förhoppningsvis är det mer regel än undantag.

Denna restaurang inom Esplanade Hotel är fantastisk. Tjänsten är exemplarisk men aldrig för mycket. Mat och vin rekommendationer av vår servitör och sommelier var perfekt. En underbar kväll och rekommenderas starkt för en verkligt speciell kväll.

Bra Michelin stil mat. Passar matälskare och matkännare. Nybakat bröd och hembakat smör. Ett brett utbud av lokala och internationella viner tillgängliga från så långt som Australien och Nya Zeeland.

Maten var bortskämd, jag hade ont i magen hela kvällen och kunde inte sova. Denna restaurang har varit vår favorit i flera år, vi har alltid varit nöjda med maten, men igår kväll var allt en besvikelse, även spagetti med tomater till vårt barn. . .

Jag var inte sugen på en tung måltid så jag beställde förrätten risotto med räkor och en sparrissoppa. Innan våra tallrikar levererades fick vi varsin 2 brödskivor på våra brödtallrikar och smör. Detta var inte beställt. Paret jag var med åt en varmrätt så servitören frågade om jag ville ha soppan som förrätt och risotton som huvudrätt och jag svarade ja. Deras förrätt kom och inte min. Jag antog bara att han gjorde ett misstag och jag skulle få båda under huvudrätten. Fick aldrig soppan. Sa inget eftersom jag inte var så hungrig och vi väntade länge på kurserna och jag ville inte dra ut på middagen ännu längre. Risotton var bara ok; kan inte säga att jag var förtjust i smaken och en annan part som beställde den ogillade den så mycket att hon inte ville äta den. Herrn som hade beställt tunga till huvudrätten älskade det. Desserterna var utsökta. När räkningen kom debiterades vi för varsitt bröd vilket jag tyckte var stötande eftersom vi inte fick frågan om vi ville ha det och inte heller beställde det. Kom hit för frukost och återigen min beställning var ofullständig. Bad om potatis, äggröra och en ruccolasallad. Fick bara äggen. Ingen stor grej men helt klart måste servitrispersonalen vara mer noggrann. De är dock uppmärksamma.

En mycket god service där vi fick två förrätter slm köket bjöd på utöver vår tre-rättersmiddag men också ytterligare en efterrätt som köket bjöd på. Servicen var från start till slut precis så den ska vara, kyparna uppmärksammade så fort glasen började bli tomma. Alla var väldigt trevliga. Prisvärt för den fina mat de serverar.

Härlig mat och i det bästa hotellet i Zagreb. Maten är alltid färsk, bra frukost för att beställa vad du gillar kokta eller en bra buffé. Kommer hit i över 10 år.

Vi träffade alla Michelinstjärniga restauranger i Kroatien på denna resa (en vardera i Zagreb, Rovinj och Dubrovnik). . . och ärligt talat är jag inte säker på hur Zinfandel är utan den stjärnan, eftersom de på alla sätt är överlägsna den stjärnmärkta restaurangen i Zagreb, 360. Inte för att vi inte gillade Noelle, men vi åt på Zinfandel en natt på spåret för det ögonblicket då vi var för trötta för att gå ut och prova något nytt, och min godhet vilken överraskning. . . denna plats vaggar den med färska, läckra, vackert presenterade och fascinerande sammansatta rätter, överträffade endast av tjänsten som erbjuds i en inställning som passar för royalty. Bästa middagen vi hade i Zagreb!

Vi var mycket nöjda med mat men vi väntade på huvudrätten för länge. Restaurangen var inte ens full. Personalen var mycket professionell så de bad om ursäkt för väntan.

Vi var ett parti på tio och hade en härlig kväll på Zinfandel. Tjänsten var bekväm men ändå uppmärksam och mycket vänlig. Vi hade kul med serviceteamet. Maten var mycket bra med lätta boende för matallergier. Miljön i Zinfandel är utmärkt och läggs till en mycket trevlig kväll. Saltad fisk var ett unikt erbjudande.
