A truely innovative concept. The food is great (on two consecutive dinners I had the pleasure to enjoy approximately10 dishes - each one was worth it’s price!). Don’t miss out on the Bauchladen - awesome idea! Will definitely return.

Great dishes and local wine selection. Minus one star, because we had to beg (multiple times) to get a table - they were hnder-sraffed, but restaurant was effectively only 40% full. Thanks for not letting us check into the hotel with only room service as an option.

Food par excellence - well prepared with understanding of a demanding art.

Fairly good wines from the region - maybe the best you could get from there.

Why 3 stars? - Simply because of the service. It took too long for first ordering, staff little helpful in making recommendations and please don't just serve food like in any other restaurant. Rather tell a story what is on a plate.

This place is supposed to be not about eating, it should be about experiencing.

Food is excellent and prepared with creativity. Reservation in advance is recommended and may be necessary in some periods, especially for groups of people. It's not a cheap place, especially for a small, albeit charming, German winemakers village, neither is it a place for a quick snack. But this is honestly reflected in its title "gourmet restaurant", meaning that the place is intended for the people who love quality food, good drinks, friendly service, nice company, cozy atmosphere and are less concerned about time and money. A place to enjoy your long and lazy evening. Or to impress your business partner.
