Saw beautiful videos of this place online so decided to stop by for brunch. They changed the menu because some of the dishes that looked amazing like the turkish eggs are not available anymore. The menus is very limited so we ordered some other stuff that they had. The coffee, bread and soup were good but the other stuff like the tomato dip and the soggy eggs on bread not as much. Also, The two servers that work here are very not friendly and give out bad vibes and the service is quite slow and not efficient in general. Too bad really wanted to like this place but will not be back.

Brunch a little different - the server warned us as we sat down they no longer had Turkish eggs (so if you’re looking solely for that, stay away).

What we had instead was a truly huge chunk of delicious freshly baked bread (far larger than you would expect for 2e) plus a range of delicious butters and dips. I found the labneh and lentil dips to be my favourite and very filling. Best food I had in Porto.

Showed up at 11am and they were not serving breakfast anymore… they open at 10am, how can you be out of breakfast in 1 hour? They mentioned we could stay and wait for the lunch menu (12:30pm). We stayed just for coffee, had a couple pastries that were tasty. Server was a little rude but the girl in charge of the coffee was a sweetheart.

Me and my partner did some research before we came to Porto to find some of the best food. We found that at Epoca. We got two lunch dishes (which we ended up sharing as they were both so good) and two drinks each.

The food was so fresh. I got the herby rice and my partner got the orzo. We also got homemade sourdough bread and green pea hummus to start. THE BEST HUMMUS EVER.

Staff were very friendly, spoke great English and were very accommodating.

We will be back🫶🏼

This place is a gem. I’ve been in Porto for almost a week and I’ve returned to this lovely brunch restaurant three times already :)
The coffee is really great and the sourdough bread is out of this world!
The first time I came, I had the sourdough bread with whipped slightly salted butter and strawberry fennel seeds jam.
So very delicious!
The next time I had their soup and a lovely vegetarian dish for lunch. All their butters are very smooth and tasty as well as their compté cheese.
Definitely worth coming to this cute little spot, make sure you get here early, it does fill up pretty quickly!
