I’ve been to Copra almost seven times, and it never disappoints – whether I’m with family or friends. The cocktails are fantastic, and the appetizers are always on point. We especially loved the veg thali and crab curry. A great spot for delicious food and a memorable dining experience every time!

The food tasted like home :). We tried the tasting menu and very satisfied. The coconut  crystals was the highlight of the evening, subtly spiced with cardamom paired with not so overwhelming mango and basil seeds. Four stars on the food just because I expect there is room for improvement at the fine dining level.

I really enjoyed the food here — I was worried about the dishes being too spicy but they’re not.  My favorites were the Cod and the Bone Marrow but everything that we ordered were good.  We got 4 small and 4 large dishes, as well as 2 desserts for 5 people, and that was a good amount.  Definitely not the typical Indian restaurant serving Tikka Masala or other gravy-based dishes with your choice of protein.  This is a more upscale restaurant, with a beautifully decorated interior

Phenomenal south Indian fare. Little bit pricey but very worth it. Ambience at dinner could use a bit more light and the music is a bit too loud (we had trouble hearing our waiter) but the food is absolutely top notch. We were stuffed and will be coming back.

We celebrated a special occasion here. It's a very pretty restaurant. The servers were good. The sitting was a bit too crowded for an expensive restaurant. The food was in my top 3 worst Indian foods I have eaten in restaurants around the world. I think what made it worse was the price. The first dish was a Soft Egg Appam, something with an egg for $28. Not sure who came up with this dish, it tasted almost like nothing. I am adding the photos of the dishes that we had and I wouldn't recommend any of them. Either the flavors were missing or the spice level was too high. The food wasn't warm. The dishes were prepared very creatively but didn't taste good. They gave us a complimentary one scoop of icecream, which was a nice gesture but it was so small. lol I don't think the food would be good for non-Indian customers either. Some of my non-Indian friends know better tasting restaurants. I would say surprisingly disappointing.

Det är i grunden en indisk restaurang med sydindisk mat. Utmärkt mat, presentation och atmosfär. Servicen höll dock inte måttet. Dyrt ställe men värt besöket.

Kopra är en trevlig variant av indisk mat. Det är en fin middagsupplevelse med massor av inredning som du är i ett tropiskt läge. De har en komplett bar, men jag njöt av deras mocktails och skulle rekommendera att prova dem. 

Maten var god. Allt vi hade var utsökt. Biriyani är inte dum stil med basmatiris. Det är med ett annat ris men det var väldigt gott och automatiskt med såsen vilket är toppen att man inte behöver be om det. Jag skulle rekommendera att prova det. 

Kaffet var bra i Bangalore mode med metallkopp och fat. Jag skulle beställa kaffe över chai.

Trevlig atmosfär och inredning. 
Vi hade bara vegetariska rätter och vi var imponerade av kvaliteten och blandningen av smaker. 
Utmärkt indisk restaurang, 
Skulle definitivt besöka igen.

Så min vän ville ta med mig på ett snabbt besök till SF. Hon sa att vi måste äta här. Hon hade rätt. Vi satt i baren och våra smaklökar blåste. Jag har några förrätter och en huvudrätt. Alla mycket läckra. Tjänster med ett leende, och informativ. Jag vet inte hur jag ska beskriva smakinfusionerna som lades på vår tallrik. Jag fortsatte bara att smaka på det och undrade hur man skulle säga det med det? Riktigt riktigt trevlig upplevelse. 
Var i dyrt, bara mycket trevlig atmosfär människorna allt var verkligen toppen - notch

Bästa delen: trevlig inredning och uppmärksam servicepersonal. . Atmosfären: för högt: samtal knappt möjligt. Meny: obeskrivlig. Mat: gimmicky. Skulle inte räcka i London eller NY. En gång räckte

Jag hade förlängt min affärsresa för att njuta av San Francisco och äta på en bra restaurang. Beskrivningen av Copra i Conde Nasts lista över de 27 bästa restaurangerna i SF var lysande. 
Jag var besviken på denna restaurang inte bara i mina två val av rätter, men framför allt av servicen, som aldrig insåg att maten inte var till min belåtenhet. 
Till att börja med valde jag Thattukada Fried Chicken som var väldigt torr, till och med förkolnad med en stor mängd smulor som inte gav så mycket smak. Om denna rätt delades med andra matgäster, tillsammans med grönsaker eller en saftig curry, kan det vara bra, men serveras på egen hand, är det inte bra. 
När jag öppnade bananbladet påminde doften av svart torsk Pollichathu mig om lukten i kontorsköket när någon värmer upp fisk i mikrovågsugnen! Här är ackompanjemanget så kryddigt att man inte kan skilja den svarta torsken från en frusen tilapia, vilket inte alls är subtilt. 
Inredningen och mångfalden av gäster: unga, gamla, familjer är mycket trevlig.

Nyligen hade 11 av oss, alla familjemedlemmar, samlats i San Francisco och besökt denna mycket hypade restaurang för middag. Vi såg alla fram emot en fantastisk upplevelse. Atmosfären var stor. Men det var där vår goda erfarenhet slutade. Först, som ett stort parti, var vi tvungna att acceptera deras "fast" meny till ett enormt pris av $ 125 per person + skatter + drycker. Servitörerna/servitriserna verkade överarbetade eftersom de inte ens brydde sig om att kontrollera om någon av oss hade några matallergier (grundläggande). Jag har jordnötsallergi men blev serverad jordnötter i salladen. Deras "fasta" menykort nämnde rätterna och rätterna i varje rätt. Även om det fanns flera icke-vegetariska rätter som nämndes på menykortet nämndes det inget om de vegetariska ersättare som skulle serveras - överraskning. Eftersom rätterna serverades under middagen glömde de att servera sin signaturförrätt (torskfisk) och när de påmindes fick vi veta att köket hade stängt & de kan inte servera det. Vi frågade efter chefen och hans svar var att de hade serverat en sparrisrätt som ersättning för torsk, vilket var en lögn. Ett, hur kan restaurangen besluta att byta ut sin signaturrätt utan att kontrollera med kunderna? För det andra ersatte sparrisrätten en kycklingcurry som serverades tidigare. När chefen konfronterades med dessa fakta lät han hjälplös. Efter långa överläggningar i telefon med sin ledning, var hans erbjudande att ta en liten summa från notan. När chefen påmindes om att de hade tvingat oss att acceptera en 'produkt' (deras 'fasta' meny istället för ala carte) och inte hade levererat den utlovade produkten eller upplevelsen, började han köpslå om rabatten de kan erbjuda vilket gjorde hela situationen ful. Äckliga över detta oprofessionella och oetiska beteende av restaurangen, vi betalade det begärda beloppet och lämnade utan att ens ha desserter. Inte en restaurang jag någonsin skulle besöka igen eller rekommendera. . .
